Kai just stared at the goddess as if she wasn’t the one who said he could use her have sex with her nuns, yet here she was, cursing him out for doing what she said he could do.
’I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that.’
"Ahem, Gracia. I’m planning on traveling to the other continents, I’m sure you know this. Can you let us pass through the barrier you placed around the continent?"
"I can, but passing through my barrier wouldn’t be the end of your worries."
"Right, I’d have to pass through the barrier of the other goddess."
She nodded. "Correct. And I can’t command them so-"
"Tell them I’m the son of the progenitor." He cut her off.
"Ah...I...But that’s...Ugh, fine. Just wait a moment." Gracia vanished, leaving sparkling lights in her wake.
Kai waited exactly five minutes before she returned.
"She said she’ll let you pass once you show her who you are. Since you wield the hero’s sword, or I guess my Hero’s sword, since it only applies to my continent, she’ll sense my power and know it’s you. She also wishes to have a chat with you when you arrive in her territory, so head to her church when you have the time."
"Sweet! You’re the best! Thanks."
"A-Ahem, at least you know that." She blushed.
"Okay, now send me back."
Gracia waved her hand, and Kai was teleported back to the surface.

"Are you okay?"
"What happened?"
"Are you hurt?"
"Haha, relax, I’m fine. Just had a little chat with Gracia. We’re going to....Yeah, I have no idea what the other continent is called. But we’ll find out when we get there!"
"There’s actually no way Kai spoke to the goddess that easily." Sasha couldn’t believe it.
"Well, he is the hero after all." Kyana pointed out, thinking that gave me some type of authority to speak with Gracia.
"Follow me, guys, there’s something we need to do before we leave." Kai took off before they could even start following him.
Gwen rolled her eyes. "I know he’s excited, but at least teleport us with....."
They were all teleported to his location.
"...You. A mercenary guild? Why are we here?"
"So we can all get tattoos and eat the wings they sell here. Obviously, we’re here to become mercenaries! Duh!"
Gwen nearly lunged at Kai after he spoke to her that way, but Amaya and Sasha held her back.
"Welcome, how may I help you, sir?" A receptionist asked.
"Hello, we’re here to become mercenaries!" Kai’s face was beaming with excitement. He could barely contain himself.
"Wonderful. Do you all have any prior experience in this field of work? Whether it be working with a family member, doing temporary jobs, or things along that line?"
"Uhhh? We’re S-Rank adventurers. Hope that helps." Kai placed all of their IDs on the counter, hoping it would allow them to get their mercenary license.
"W-What the fuck?! And you’re a primal hunter? Oh, I can make you a Diamond Rank Mercenary right now!"
"Wait!" Kai stopped her before she could stamp their licenses. "We’d like to start off at bronze, please."
"Here he goes again." Gwen groaned
"Why does he always want to start off at the bottom of the barrel?"
"Satisfaction." Sasha understood Kai, and she agreed with him.
"Sure, satisfaction. Yeah, let’s call it that." Kyana chuckled.
"O-Okay. You six will be Bronze Rank Mercenaries. Do you understand how mercenaries work?"
"Yes, but you can explain it again to me for a refresher." He smiled.
"Alright. Mercenaries do jobs such as escorting goods or people. They also take contracts that involve killing targets or finding certain items. Mercenaries can even be bought as bodyguards or even instructors. In times of war, they can be paid as soldiers as well."
"Amazing! So, to rank up, I need to take on a lot of jobs, right?"
"Correct. Each rank has three sub-ranks, so bronze 3, then you rank up to bronze 2, then bronze 1, and after that, you’ll rank up to silver 3. Ranks between numbers are known as minor ranks. Ranks between the materials are known as major ranks."
Kai tossed the receptionist a gold coin. "Thanks for the information. Under normal circumstances, I would have had sex with you, but I’m in a hurry right now, so you’ll have to make due with the gold coin. Bye!"

Kai and crew arrived back at the port and found an open place to take out his ship. He snapped his fingers, and a small boat appeared in his hands. Then he tossed it onto the water and it expanded into a full-size ship.
It was huge, larger than any ship at the docks, and people stopped to see who the owner of that beautiful piece of craftsmanship was.
But Kai paid them no mind and boarded his ship with his girls.
"Are you not saying goodbye to your family?" Amaya asked
"I already did. I sent a clone to do that when we arrived. Besides, I can teleport back in an instant when I want to see them again. We’ll be back in three months for the birth of my kids as well."
"All right! Release the anchor!" Kai shouted, commanding his ship with his power. The anchor rose from the sea floor. "Release the sails!"
"Shouldn’t we do that in open water?" Nadya asked.
"I don’t know, actually. I’ve never actually been the captain of a ship. Hell, this is the first time I’ve been on a ship in my life! Ohhh! I have to name her!"
"Her?"
"All ships are female. Dunno why, but that’s just how it is. I’m thinking of calling her Cthulhu’s Ark. Ha! Yeah, I like that!"
"What does that even mean?"
"Dunno, but Cthulhu is a giant alien, squid god monster that roams the seas, I think. I don’t really know. There are a lot of depictions of that character, so I never really knew which one was true. But it doesn’t matter. Cthulhu’s Ark, onward!"
