"Fucking bastards." Kai was the only person who went to the western island. They all told him that he was strong enough to handle it by himself.
He thought he was going to attack the central island with Kurami, but they all said that since he could finish his side in mere seconds, he should just head to the western island, get the orb, then meet up with them at the central island.
"Why do I have to be here by myself? They could have at least let Amaya come with me."
’I don’t know why you’re even crying about it. Just kill everyone already.’
"It’s not about that, Leo. You know I like having fun."
’I guess.’ He appeared next to Kai.
"Wanna destroy that fort together?"
’No.’
"Bitch."
’Hmmm. Something is off here.’
"Yeah, I know. The spirit world is all out of whack and shit."
"No, not that. I can feel a presence that’s not supposed to be here, but I can’t tell where it is.’
"You can feel the presence, but you don’t know where it is? Are you the god of like... everything? How the hell do you know where something is?"
’Dunno. This person must have gotten their hands on Progenitor energy. It’s the only thing in the universe that can prevent me from using my abilities to their fullest.’
"Again, aren’t you the most powerful in the universe?"
’Dude, what do you think existed before I was born? It was Progenitor energy. I was born from it and absorbed all of it, but the universe is comprised of it. No one can be as powerful as I am, and I can do anything, but the forces of the universe are still powerful enough to prevent me from seeing places clearly.’
"Then just travel to every area where there is Progenitor energy."
’Oh, that’s a good idea. Why didn’t I think of that with my infinite knowledge?’
"This is why you’re a bitch and you can’t feel the presence."
’Hey, I’m looking out for you. This force is leagues more powerful than you or any of the gods in this world. I’m just trying to make sure nothing bad happens here. Normally, I wouldn’t care about worlds being destroyed, but you’re my favorite son and you live here.’
"Thanks, Dad," Kai said sarcastically.
’Hmm. The presence has been gone for a bit, but it was here recently. I’ll keep an eye out for anything unusual. You do the same.’
"Dude, I don’t even know what you’re talking about. Everything in this world is unusual to me. I mean, I came from a world where everyone was human and we had cars, planes, and phones. Now everything is Medieval, people use magic, and there are many races that live here. Oh, and gods exist."
’That’s fair. Well, I put a contingency plan in your system.’
"Status window."
’Whatever, man. Just know that if you run into any extra-terrestrial danger, your status window will inform you, and it will take precautions.’
"What kind of precautions?" Kai was pretty interested in what Leo did to his system. He kind of hoped the danger would come to him, but then he remembered Leo saying that the danger was more powerful than him, so he pushed that thought to the back of his head.
"What if I use all my points? I got like 15 million points. Hell, I’ll buy some abilities right now." Kai bought time and space control, the space abilities being more powerful than space magic. He bought complete matter manipulation, creation, and increased his stats.

Leo busted out laughing. He was happy that Kai was taking the initiative, but he had to let his son know that there were forces more powerful than his points would allow even him to be.
"Okay, then make me a demigod. I have no interest in taking over the universe or anything like that. Don’t get me wrong, though, I will definitely cause trouble for you. Not out of malice, though."
’I don’t doubt that. But don’t worry, everything will be fine. I’ll know when someone enters this world, so you don’t need to worry about anything. Now, are you going to get the spirit orb?’
Kai frowned. He wanted to keep talking about this foreign threat, but Leo wouldn’t engage in the conversation anymore. Still, he was happy that Leo told him, and even though he didn’t see Leo as a father figure, he was still glad to know that he cared for him.
"Okay, island. First, where is the orb?" Kai sensed the entire island for the orb, and once he found it, he teleported it into his hand.
"Time to clean this place up." Flying high above the island, Kai clenched his fist, and the island erupted into a pillar of flames, completely destroying it.
’Dude, are you crazy? People live there, you know!’
"Oh shit! Right." Using his new creation abilities, Kai restructured the island.
"Wow, these powers are great. I could always put things back together with the abilities I had before, but this is leagues better. And this orb, I can sense a lot of power from it."
’The spirit orb is like the hero’s sword you possess. More powerful even.’
"That’s impressive. Alright, I’ll see you later. Gotta catch my taxi out of this place."
’Sure, see ya.’
Kai flew toward the central island where the main spirit force was waiting for him. A few minutes after he arrived, the others arrived as well, and they prepared to launch their attack on the demon lord and reclaim the spirit world.
"You took longer than I expected." Kurami thought Kai would finish in a few minutes at most.
"I was having a chat with my dad, so that took up my time. Taking the orb only took like ten seconds. Did you guys hear that explosion? I blew up the island, then I had to recreate it."
The spirits were so shocked that they didn’t even know how to respond.
"Let’s just kill this demon lord."
