It was a slaughter. Normally, you’d expect gods to lay waste to any mortal that dares to challenge them. Compared to them, mortals are weak, fragile, and even if they reach the peak of their species, still aren’t able to hold a candle to a god.
This wasn’t the case in this moment.
No god was able to even defend against the onslaught that was Amaya’s fury. She moved so fast that even Kai had to rub his eyes to make sure he was seeing things correctly. Now, he could see her perfectly fine, but he wasn’t expecting her to move so fast.
Her wind magic, the magic that she was the best at, was wrapped around her body, and that was it. She did NOTHING with the magic. She didn’t cast any spells, didn’t use it to increase her speed or strength, and she didn’t even coat her claws with it.
What she did do was move fast, so fast that the wind simply cut up anyone or anything in her way because of her speed. So when the gods tried to jump her, they were torn to shreds.
"Hahah! More! Give me more blood! I want MOREEEEE!" Just like a cat, she was nimble and fast. She jumped onto bodies, biting off necks, ripping out hearts, and pulling out spines.
Gwen was even worse for the gods. Her massive size made her an easy target, but her speed did not decrease in the slightest. In fact, she was faster than normal. Her large talons crushed the gods, her tail swiped gods away, causing their bodies to explode, and her wings generated so much wind that they were blown away.
"Die!" Gwern grew two more heads, each of them charging up a devastating breath attack, and she rained down the three beams of pure energy onto the gods, and after that, black lightning struck all over the place.
"So flashy for no reason!" Sasha was manhandling every god who dared to face her. She punched them into mush, broke every bone in their bodies with each kick, and she bashed her shield into a group of gods who tried to overwhelm her.
One god grew to her size to challenge her, but that was the worst thing they could have ever done.
"An enemy my size? Just what I needed!" She charged at the god, kneeing him in the gut, headbutting him, then grabbed his face and punched him so hard that half of his face was blown off.
As the god tumbled onto the ground, she grabbed his leg and started whirling him around before slamming him on the ground. She opened her hand, her axe flew into her palm, and she split the god in half.
No god was even able to get close to Kyana as she was moving the fastest out of everyone here. Every element was tearing the gods’ bodies apart, and her accurate shots with energy arrows. When a god did get too close, an ethereal arm would grab them and crush their bodies. She was moving so fast that, if put into modern terms, she looked as if she was lagging.
Clasping her hands together, she combined all her powers and separated her hands to create an arrow that, when fired, completely destroyed everything in its blast radius, wiping out anything, no matter what it was.
Nadya looked as if she was having the time of her life, and surprisingly, she looked very calm and happy. Even though she was a demigod, she casually walked around the battlefield, humming a song while waving her wand around.
When directed toward her opponents, they just exploded, no questions asked. None of the gods could even dodge the attack, even if they used barriers.
One god managed to sneak up behind Nadya, but they quickly found out that they were trapped inside a binding spell, and when she turned around, she tapped the god’s forehead, making his body collapse in on itself.
Kai gulped and made sure not to get on her bad side.
Thalia was also doing very well. She was weaker than his girls, but that didn’t stop her from catching bodies. Unlike the rest of them, she was able to get hit and hurt, but each time she was hit, her power doubled, making her stronger.
It got to a point where Thalia became so strong that just by launching off the ground, the gods around her simply died from the shockwave.
She worked her sword around the battlefield, jumping over gods, using some of their bodies as shields, and bathed in blood like the berserker she was.
Soon, the six of them wiped out all of the gods present, and it was Kai’s turn to act.
"Heh, you all are insane!" He extended his arms out to his side and started to absorb the essences of every demigod and god, making himself significantly stronger. This wasn’t even a part of his plan, but it worked in his favor.
Once that was done, he created three clones of himself and went to the four ’corners’ of the dome and started to absorb the energy.
"Heh, haha, hahahaha, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He could feel it, the power, his divine energy being increased tenfold. It was an almost addictive feeling, so much power flowing through his body, but he managed to get his mental state undercontrol.
Soon, the barrier was completely absorbed into Kai’s being, and the clones all merged back into him. Then, his power erupted so violently that it created a shockwave around the entire planet.
The time that was trapped from the dome was now able to connect back with the rest of the continent, and everyone who died came back to life.
The town was restored, albeit destroyed. The large space that the Titaness created was merged with the land, and once she felt that the dome was destroyed, she descended from her throne and made her way to Kai.
"We meet again." Kai smiled
"You’re the son of the progenitor."
"What, scared now?"
She smiled, then shook her head. "No. Do you know that I’m one of the oldest titans in existence? I’ve met your father plenty of times, and one thing that I’ve realized is that he doesn’t interfere with what his kids do, especially if they are the ones who start the conflict."
"So you plan on fighting me?"
"You killed my children."
"Fair enough. But I’m letting you know this right now, I’m nothing like my siblings that you’ve probably encountered in the past."
"Heh, yeah, you’re way weaker."
"Maybe, but I’m also crazier!" Kai blew up the planet.
