The Hero of Hypnosis Chapter 55

Number 4 drove the carriage to the dungeons, where he then had to get off as it couldn’t fit inside.

"Come on! Get up!" He shouted, forcing Kai, Gwen, and Tyria out of the back.

"This place will be your home from now on. Get comfortable, as this will be the last place you’ll ever see. Now follow me." He ordered

Kai laughed "Hey, fuck face."

Number four lunged toward Kai in a heap of rage. He drew his sword and pressed it against Kai’s throat.

"Don’t mistake my easy-going nature for me being soft or weak. Your friend isn’t coming to save you. You’re a prisoner now, you are nothing. The only reason why you aren’t dead right now is that you can possibly have vital information. But I swear, if you open your mouth and speak to me that way again, I’ll slit your fucking throat."

"Do it, pussy!" Kai egged him on.

"You!" Number four slashed Kai’s throat, only for his blade to snap against his tough skin.

NO.4 hopped back in shock, looking down at his blade, then at Kai’s throat. He didn’t understand what was going on.

"Y-You should be dead! How the fuck did you survive that?! How did my sword break against your neck?!" Although he asked those questions, he knew the answer to them.

That could only happen if the person in front of him was a lot stronger than he was.

"S-Shit!" NO.4 ran as fast as he could, his mana exploding as he took off, but Kai easily grabbed him with telekinesis and dragged him back.

"Look into my eyes, you stupid bastard." Kai hypnotized the man, forcing him under his control. He placed the same hypnosis on NO.4 as he did on NO. 13.

"Now, this is what you’re going to do. You’re going to take us to the place you’re keeping Annabeth, go back to where your leader is, and call all of your members there so that you all can be in one place. After that, you’ll wait until I arrive. Once I do, start killing your comrades."

"I understand." No.4 bowed.

"Good, now, get to walking." Kai made sure to place the carriage in his inventory before they left for the dungeon cells.

It would be unfortunate to have to go back to Highgrove Village on foot.

’Wait! I can teleport! Fuck! I forgot about that! I don’t even need a carriage to travel back there. This is why having all these abilities is the best!’

No.4 led them through the dungeon, where they entered the room where the cells were. There were about fifty cells, and all of them had a prisoner, some dead, some alive.

It was clear just by looking at the cells what they were there for. Blood stained the walls and floor. Body parts were left behind to rot or be eaten by rodents. Some were still breathing, strapped to chairs with torture devices breaking their wills. Others were either dead in their cells or were waiting for their turn.

It was a horrible sight. A form of brutality that Kai had only seen on television. It never bothered him then since he knew it was fake, but seeing it in person, even with his perfect mind, the sight rubbed him the wrong way.

Tyria almost vomited, but Kai eased her with his mana, allowing her mind to remain calm.

Soon, they approached the last cell in the hall. It was a large one, enough to hold around ten people. One human woman wearing what looked to be prison clothes made out of potato bags was lying on the ground with tons of scars and bruises over her body.

Her right arm was cleanly chopped off, and her left leg looked to be smashed and ripped. She was missing an eye, and some of her fingers were gone. There was a scar across her face, her hair was unevenly cut with burn marks that reached her scalp, and she was missing an ear.

Kai could also sense that she had no mana. He used his X-ray vision and saw that her mana circuits, the pathways in the body that allow for the use of mana, were all completely destroyed.

"How cruel." He muttered under his breath.

"Get in. This is where you’ll be staying for the time being. This is also where Annabeth is." No.4 said, pushing them in the cell before leaving to do as Kai instructed.

"My god! Annabeth?!" Tyria rushed over to her guard’s side, holding her up as she looked into the brutalized woman’s eye.

"L-Lady Tyira?" Annabeth gasped, looking up at the woman she was meant to protect. Annabeth had lost some teeth as well, but that didn’t impair her speech.

"Yes! Yes! It’s me! Tyria!" She sobbed, pulling her closer.

"Haah, Lady Tyria, I’m so glad you’re okay. Y-Your uncle! H-He’s behind this. You need to r-relay this information to y-your parents!"

Tyria nodded, jets of tears running down her face. "I know. I know he’s behind this. But don’t worry. I promise to get you out of here! Just hang on!"

It was then that Annabeth came to realize the situation Tyria was in. "N-No! You’re here! Captured! T-They got to you too! I-I failed! Oh, my King, my Queen, I’ve failed!" She sobbed, holding Tyria’s hand tightly.

"No, no. Shh. You didn’t fail. We’re here to rescue you. I’ve brought help, friends. We’ll get you out of here."

Annabeth looked at Gwen and Kai. She smiled, thanking them for helping Tyria when she needed help. "But, leave without me. I’m crippled now, my life is over. I will never be able to do my duties in this state. I’ll only be dead weight."

"Don’t say that!" Tyria’s voice rose. "You’re not dead weight! You’re my friend! I won’t leave you behind!"

Annabeth smiled. "It’s okay, I’ve accepted my fate. Please, go on without me. You being safe is all that matters to me."

"No! I won’t leave you!" Tyria sobbed hard, pressing her face against Annabeth’s shoulder.

Kai placed his hand on Tyria’s shoulder. When she looked up, he smiled. "Eveything will be alright. I’ll handle this."

Placing his hand on Annabeth’s back, Kai used his healing magic on her. Because of how much mana he used, the healing effect was greater than ever before.

All of Annabeth’s injuries and bruises were instantly healed. Her arm and leg grew back, as well as her fingers, ears, and teeth. Every internal injury in her body was instantly fixed as well. Her hair returned to its former glory, long, brown, and silky. And finally, her mana circuits were completely restored to their former glory.

Annabeth, once looking like a dying woman, returned to the extremely beautiful woman she once was.
