The Hero of Hypnosis Chapter 550

Kai and Leo flew through space while heading to Divinity City. While Leo could have teleported them there, he wanted Kai to understand how vast space was, especially when traveling through it.

"You do realize that I lived on a scientific planet that had probes scan the solar system, right?" Kai was sure Leo knew because he lived there as well.

"Pfft! That backward planet? Your people couldn’t even land on a planet, barely even your moon. And only two of your probes made it into interstellar space, and that took like, 30 years."

"Well, true, but we did a pretty good job learning about the universe, right?"

Leo nodded. "I won’t deny that. For a planet that didn’t have any divine guidance, you guys did great. Some things were wrong, of course, but it was still pretty accurate."

"See! So I know how vast the universe is." Kai felt proud.

"Dude, you guys didn’t even know what lies beyond the observable universe. Do you want to know what lies beyond that point?"

Kai never really thought of that and actually did wonder what lay beyond that point.

"Yes. Tell me."

"The fucking universe! The observable universe is just as far as light can travel to a certain point before being too spread thin to capture properly. So, move a little closer, and boom, more universe that you can see."

"I thought it was because light didn’t have enough time to travel to our location yet."

"What? Oh, the big bang. No, that’s not the case. First of all, there is no big bang. This is one of the things your people got wrong, kind of. When I was born, there was literally nothing. It’s hard to explain how nothing existed, because without nothing, there has to be something for that nothing to exist."

"Sure." Kai was already lost.

"So, I was that culmination of nothing and something, a will. The desire to become something, even though I was nothing. So, when I was born, I was extremely bright."

"Like smart?"

"No, like shiny. I lit up the universe. Then, with a single swipe of my hand, boom, universe created. There was no explosion that produced the elements that made up galaxies, superclusters, nebulae, and so on. All of that was created instantly. HOWEVER! It was in their elementary state."

"Elementary state? Like, still forming?"

"Yes. I created the planet, but the planet still had to evolve to house life and so on. I will say that after that point, the universe formed the way your scientists believed it did. Like suns exploding, which then give life to more stars and so on."

"The more you know, I guess. Are you sure you don’t want to teleport us to the place?"

"Nope. Suck it up, bitch."

"Fuck you."

"Did you notice?"

"Notice what?"

"We’re flying at light speed, man."

Kai thought that was obvious. "And?"

"We haven’t even reached the closest star yet."

Now, Kai was starting to understand why Leo was having him fly through space. It had already been a few hours since they had left the planet, and while they were in interstellar space, they weren’t even halfway to the nearest star, which was 5 light-years away.

"Are you telling me that we’re going to be flying for the next five years just to reach the nearest star?"

"Heh, no. I’m not that insane. Hold on." Leo grabbed Kai’s arm, and he moved so fast that Kai’s vision went from seeing darkness to the warping scene that ships see in sci-fi movies.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

"And we’re here." Leo stopped flying

"We’re where? Divinity city?"

"What? No, I wanted to show you that." Leo pointed at nothing.

Kai looked where Leo pointed, then looked back at him. "Show me what?"

"Heh, seriously, dude? Do you not have your divine vision on?"

"Eh, I wanted to see what space would look like without it. It’s so dark and...why am I floating away from you?"

"Ahh, there it is."

Kai turned on his divine vision and saw a black hole.

"Oh shit! That’s so cool! A black hole! I’m going to swim in it!"

"Wait! Kai! You can’t swim in black holes!"

It was too late. Kai had passed the event horizon and started to...not get stretched. It was not what he expected.

"What’s going on?" He flew out of the black hole, able to escape its gravity as well.

"Must be because I’m a god, huh?"

"Yeah. Though not every god can escape a black hole. A demigod would still die. And depending on the size, a god and a Titan would die as well. Primordials are the only ones completely immune ot these super suckers. Oh, so are you because you’re my child. It wouldn’t matter if you’re human."

"If that was the case, then why did I die from that truck?"

"I already told you. You didn’t die, I just took you out of your mortal shell that I had you in on that planet."

"Mhmm. Anyway, that’s enough fun. Let’s go to Divinity City already. Using my divine vision, I can see that the closest star is over 100 million light-years away. Fucking space, man."

Leo chuckled. "Alright. Hang on." He grabbed Kai’s shoulder, then teleported to Divinity City, or at least above it.

"Whoa!!!!! Nothing’s here." Kai frowned. "Where are we, anyway?"

"The center of the universe. This place stays at the same spot even as the universe expands. It’s the place where I was born. The day the galactic calendar flipped its first page." Leo waved his hand, and space rippled, showing a sight that Kai would never forget.

A large, floating rock the size of 5 super galaxies, made out of all kinds of silver, gold, and beautiful jewels, glinted in his eyes. If this place were a person, that person would be the most beautiful person Kai had ever seen, man or woman.

"Okay, whoa! For real this time."

Leo smiled. "Pretty cool, huh?"

"That’s an understatement. Are the people there gods?"

Leo nodded. "Demigods, Gods, Titans, and Primordials. Mortals are also there, but mortals who have reached the pinnacle of mortality and have comprehended every Law of the Universe."

"The mortals on the verge of divinity."

"Exactly."

"Andromeda is there?"

"Yup."

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!"
