Fu Hua opened the door and blocked Fu ChunHua's view.
When Fu ChunHua saw him instead of Jia Li, her smile faltered.
"You don't want to see me?" Fu Hua asked with a frown.
"It's not like that, I came to see Jia Li and was surprised to see you, I thought you had gone to work." Fu ChunHua said as she chuckled embarrassingly.
"Jia Li is busy now." Fu Hua replied with folded arms.
"Ah! Alright, I will come back later." Fu ChunHua said before leaving.
Fu Hua walked back into the room and closed the door behind him. He went to sit on the couch to wait for Jia Li.
Jia Li came out two minutes later. She was fast because she knew he was running late for the meeting.
Honestly, she was quite surprised when he asked her to come with her to the office, because last she remembered, he didn't want anyone to know the relationship between them. But since he asked her to follow him, she didn't want to think to much about it.
Fu Hua glanced her up and down before telling her, "It will snow today, I will be right back" and with that, he went into the inner room and came back a minute later.
He passed the muffler and pair of gloves to Jia Li while saying, "Put them on."
"Thank you!" Jia Li said as she put the gloves on before hanging the muffler around her neck.
Fu Hua helped her to adjust it before asking, "Ready?" Jia Li picked up her phone and said, "Ready."
Fu Hua glanced at the tray of food she left on the table and Jia Li followed his sight. When she saw the tray of food, she smiled and went over to carry it.
They both left the room together. A servant they encountered at the stairs, took the tray from Jia Li, and she sighed in relief.
As they were about stepping out of the doors, they met Butler Lu, who was surprised to see them leaving together.
"I'm taking Jia Li with me." Fu Hua answered his curiosity before pulling Jia Li to leave the house.
On their way to FJ Styles, the car was silent until Jia Li's stomach groaned.
She quickly placed her hands on her abdomen as she glanced towards Fu Hua who glared at her and put his sight back on the road without saying anything to her.
Jia Li shrank back in her seat and tried to remain invisible. She prayed silently in her head for her stomach not to make noise again, because it was so embarrassing.
She refused to eat, and she made Fu Hua bring her out, and now, what was her stomach trying to do by making noise? Did it want her to get in trouble?
After managing to control her stomach, Jia Li turned her gaze to the environment and saw the bold letters of FJ Styles.
That name stood majestically as it was boldly written with glittering gold letters.
Jia Li's interest was intrigued when she felt the majestic presence of FJ. A small smile played on her lips since it was her first time here. She was grateful to Fu Hua for bringing her here.
While admiring the building, the thought of working there came to her mind. As she was lost in thought, she felt something before her eyes and focused on it.
"Put them on." Fu Hua said after he parked the car in front of the building.
Jia Li took the nose mask and sun shades from Fu Hua and put them on.
There was no sun yet, but Jia Li understood those things he gave to her were for disguise, so she wouldn't be recognized by the employees of FJ.
"Let me see." Fu Hua said as he turned her face to have a proper look.
"Not bad." He said before stepping out of the car.
Jia Li was wondering if her looks mattered. Just as she got out of the car, She saw a young man running towards them.
"Boss you are here?" Zimo greeted breathlessly.
Because he was in a hurry, he failed to notice Jia Li who was all covered up.
Fu Hua gave him a cold glance before going to Jia Li's side.
"Let's go." He said as he took her hand and led the way.
Zimo was taken aback by the woman their Cold CEO acted so intimate with. And he was surprised he didn't see her when he came over.
As he followed them inside the building, a thought came to his mind.
'Could she be his Hidden Wife?'
Jia Li may not be aware she was tagged 'The Hidden wife' by the employees and staff of FJ, and not only them. Those who didn't know her identity called her 'The Hidden Wife' as well.
Seeing the way his boss held onto Jia Li, Zimo confirmed that he had indeed neglected the boss lady.
'Was that the reason Boss was unhappy with me just now?' Zimo thought and cried inside his heart.
How was he supposed to know she was the Boss lady?
The Secretaries at the front desk immediately bowed to Fu Hua in greeting. When they raised their heads, the three of them exchanged glances as they began to wonder who the woman their boss was holding hand with was.
As they passed some employees, Jia Li could feel their curious gazes and glances directed towards her. This is what happens when you are with the Big Boss.
This was nothing to Fu Hua because his thought was on how to settle Jia Li in and go for his meeting.
Zimo hurriedly caught up with them and pressed the button for the public elevator Fu Hua wanted to use.
He wanted to remind him that he still has a private elevator, but he shut his mouth when he remembered the offense he committed some minutes ago.
While in the elevator, different thoughts kept coming to Jia Li's mind as her heart rate increased.
Now, she has an idea of what it feels like to be the center of attention.
Glancing at Fu Hua, Jia Li understood what it feels like to be involved with a big shot.
