The next day, Fu Hua goes to work leaving Jia Li to stay by her side.
Staying alone without much to do, wasn't a problem for Jia Li because she still had Ocean. She went to find her and brought her into the house to keep her company.
The servants in the house were still scared of Ocean and so had to thread carefully especially when they were around Jia Li.
They sighed in relief when Jia Li sent Ocean back to her little house because she wanted to take a nap.
An hour later, Jia Li woke up from her nap and the first thing she did after sitting up on the bed was to pick up her phone.
She turned on her internet connection and received so many notifications especially from her friends and group chats in her fashion school.
She first opened the group chat with her friends because of the tags she got from them. Her three friends asked about her graduation date as they planned to attend.
Jia Li smiled when she saw the message and immediately gave them the date. She didn't have to wait for long before they started replying to her messages.
Her friends sent her congratulatory messages in advance with posts of stickers.
Jia Li: "I will arrange a place for you all to stay when you come over, just keep me updated on the day you will come."
DanDan: "Okay, we will. We were worried about you."
Jia Li: "Why?" Jia Li asked not understanding the reason they were worried about her.
Chang-Chang: "You've been offline for a few days."
Daiyu: "Yes and it got us all worried. It's everything okay?"
Jia Li: "Everything is fine. I was busy with my school project and didn't have the time to come online."
Jia Li's friends ask about her baby since she had already told them about her pregnancy. Jia Li tells them the baby is okay before her three friends started fighting for who will be the godmother.
Jia Li had an incoming headache from watching her friends fight over her child. She couldn't watch any longer and threatened to log out, and that was how she ended the fight.
"How is the relationship with your husband?" DanDan asked worriedly.
"Is he treating you well?" Chang Chang asked.
"Everything is fine and he is treating me so well." Jia texted in reply happily.
"If he dares to bully you, you just have to tell me and I will come over to teach him a lesson." Daiyu said.
Daiyu was athletic and was used to showing off her female prowess. She was the strongest of Jia Li's friends, and she always says that no one dares to mess with her friends.
"Daiyu, who do you think Fu Hua is? You should be worried about yourself first." DanDan said to her, and the others including Jia Li laughed over it.
Jia Li chatted with her friends for a little while before saying goodbye to them. She was already hungry and had to run off to have lunch.
While at work, Fu Hua called for a short meeting with the heads of departments. FJ Style received an Invitation from Jia Li's school, The Prestigious school of fashion and deigning for their graduation ceremony.
Fu Hua called for the meeting to seek their thoughts about the invitation sent to them.
Fu Hua's assistant, Zimo had passed the invitation to him when he arrived at work in the morning.
FJ Styles do not attend that kind of event and this was the first time they were receiving that kind of invitation from Jia Li's school.
Normally, Fu Hua wouldn't bother about such kind of invitation but this was Jia Li's school, and she was amongst the graduating students, so he paid extra attention to it.
When the heads of departments heard the reason he called for the meeting, they were surprised because it was unlike him.
The Chief designer of FJ Styles, Sunny, was interested in the invitation and made a suggestion, asking for other heads of departments to consider it.
"I suggest we should send a representative to attend the graduation ceremony since an invitation was sent to us from such a prestigious school. We can also use that opportunity to access the graduating students with the best potential and possibly make an offer to work with us."
"FJ doesn't offer an opportunity to newbies so there is no need to consider it." The marketing manager reminded.
"We can start it. We need a fresh vibrant feeling." The Chief designer said.
"We don't need to go through that way, there are other methods."
"We can just go there to take a look, it must not be to contract newbies."
"Invitations were sent to other Top designer companies as well, so FJ shouldn't be left out."
Jia Li's school had a reputation already for raising the best fashion designers, so their invitations were well received and this was also the first time they were sending out invitations to Top designer companies like FJ Styles.
Fu Hua listened to them debate and share their views before concluding the meeting. He didn't have all day to listen to them argue about the graduation ceremony they were invited to.
At last, Fu Hua approved of the Chief designer's suggestion and said he would bring it up in the next executive meeting which will be held that same day.
During the executive meeting, Fu Hua brought up that suggestion and gave two major reasons FJ should participate.
Fu Hua made it obvious to the executive members that he wanted FJ to participate in the graduation ceremony.
As not everything catches the CEO's attention, the executive members agreed with him and decided to give it a shot.
So before work closed for the day, Fu Hua asked the Chief Designer to represent FJ on the day of the graduation ceremony, as this was to look out for potential young designers that were capable enough to work for FJ.
Fu Hua did all of these because he had Jia Li in mind.
This would be a great opportunity for the best students to get an offer to work with the Top designer's companies in the country, and internationally.
