Xiulan was uncomfortable after Fu Ling made those remarks concerning her looks. She couldn't concentrate on the meeting anymore. She kept readjusting herself until Fu Ling couldn't take it anymore.
"What is wrong with you?" Fu Ling asked with a deep frown on his face, he seemed to be irritated with her fussing about.
"I'm sorry Boss." Xiulan apologized immediately with shame.
Fu Ling was quiet for a while as he watched her before he continued, but this time around, he didn't take much time. He wrapped u the meeting within a few minutes and asked her to go back to her room to rest.
"…I will call you when it's time for us to leave." Fu Ling said before she left for her room.
Xiulan bowed before leaving, and just as she got into her room, she slapped her right cheeks, as she was disappointed in herself. She was the one that ended up being uncomfortable since she news not used to that act.
Back at the Fu Villa, this little one named Jasmine wouldn't let anyone help her with her assignment.
"Mummy, I can do it myself," She said while jumping to her feet with her arms raised, in a bid to snatch her book back from her mother.
"Won't you let me help you, I don't want you to make a mistake?" Jia Li said with a frown.
No matter how she tried to convince the little girl, she wouldn't budge. Fu Hua came to try his luck, but he was rejected abruptly.
Finally, Jia Li resorted to threatening her. "Jasmine, if you don't let me help you with your assignment, you will be left alone in this big house in a few days."
"I will stay with great Grandpa," Jasmine said without looking up.
"No, great-grandpa is coming with us." Jia Li replied with a mean gaze.
Jasmine looked up at her and said, "Then I will stay with grandma and grandpa."
Jia Li said in response, "Didn't you understand what I've been saying to you, everybody is coming with us, including your aunties and uncles."
Jasmine pouted her lips and glanced at her father who was trying really hard to keep a mean face.
"What about daddy?" The little girl asked.
Jia Li immediately hooked her arm around Fu Hua's arm and said with a proud gaze, "Your daddy is coming with me, and you will be the only one left in this house."
"No! Daddy will stay with me!" Jasmine insisted as she closed her school book and got to her feet.
'Is she getting ready for a fight?' Fu Hua thought as she watched his little girl in amusement.
"Daddy will bring you with us if you let us help you with our homework." Jia Li said with a glare.
"No! I want my daddy!" Jasmine said with a cry as she ran to hug her father's thighs.
Thinking that it was a joke, Jia Li insisted on taking Fu Hua with her to leave the little girl in the room, until she sat on the floor and burst into cries.
Fu Hua had to placate her, and also assure her that he would take her with them, and only then did she stop crying.
"I'm just wondering where she learned these tactics from." Jia Li said with her hands on her waist while staring at the little girl that was sobbing in her father's arms.
"It's an instinct." Fu Hua said with a smile as he patted Jasmine's back.
Jasmine learned a lesson as a result of her mother's threat. When she had calmed down, she allowed her father to help her with her assignments.
"How long are we spending in my hometown?." Jia Li asked Fu Hua in-between helping their little bun with her homework.
"3 days." Fu Hua replied. They were all preparing to leave for her hometown to visit her parents grave.
When the little bun was through with her assignment, she could take stop talking. She continued chatting about it until Fu Hua engaged her in a conversation, asking for her opinion.
The scene of the CEO of a Luxury Designer Brand company chatting with a 3-year-old soon went viral. Jia Li recorded a minute video of their interaction and posted it on her social media account.
There were so many heartwarming comments under that post. Some people couldn't believe how patient Fu Hua could be with his little daughter, because as the CEO of that popular fashion brand, he should have a lot to take in every day at work.
Seeing the love and patience Fu Hua had for his little daughter, brought admiration and respect to him.
As for the little bun who talked a lot in the video, many people thought of her as smart, charming, cute, beautiful, and a little girl with a strong personality just like her father.

"You can show off all you can now because soon, you won't be able to do that," Alix said while holding her phone and staring at Jia Li's post.
Jia Li's caption read, 'I'm beginning to get jealous of this father and daughter conversation.'
To Alix, she was showing off, so she was angry. Unlike before, Alix would have smashed something to vent her anger, but because of the big plans she has that would unfold in a few days, she learned to be calm.
Back at the resort Fu Ling and Xiulan were staying at, they had just finished dressing up and met each other at the entrance of the resort.
A driver from the resort was good to send them to the club, where they would meet the clients.
This time around, Xiulan dressed professionally in a business suit and pants. She was now looking like herself in her usual working days, and Fu Ling was satisfied with it.
After stepping into the car, Fu Ling checked the time on his wristwatch and asked the driver, "How long will it take us to get there?"
"Ten minutes." The driver replied.
Xiulan got into the front passenger seat with the documents in her hand, which Fu Ling later took from her.
