I was used to seeing animalistic eating from the hive, but what I had just seen from these two women, I would never be able to unsee...
After the two wolfed down enough food for eight people, each, Zeona spoke up in a murmur, the food taking its toll on her body. "Ugh, I hate myself right now... Apollo, can you order us one more round of drinks and an air cab? I still want to go dancing, I just, I need to rest my eyes for a minute.
"Sure thing. I would be glad to." I said truly before leaving the room once more.
Once I left, Delilah stirred and rested her head against Zeona's. "Stop, flirting. Apollo." She was missing some words in her sentence, but Zeona understood what her best friend was saying.
"I'm not... He is simply attracted to my charm... Like all men... It's natural." She said, causing Delilah to snort a laugh, clearly calling out Zeona's shit. "We-Wubabout you? Hmm? You are, he is my friend and you won't stop touching him."
Delilah smiled and nestled up against her friend. "He. Yummy. Mama wanna eat." Delilah's choice of words caused the two to start snickering together before they both closed their eyes to rest for a moment.
"Brbrbrbrbrb." I made a sound with my lips as I sat down at the bar, the hostess, that had been a delight the entire time, was already pouring the drink I had been enjoying. "Are you not enjoying yourself around those two beautiful women sir? You have been the murmur of envy among some of our other patrons."
I smiled and shot back my drink, shocking the hostess, now realising why the other two were wasted if the man in front of her was chugging such strong sipping beverages. "No, I am enjoying myself greatly, It's been a wonderful change of pace, I just forgot how odd women can act after having a few."
The hostess smiled at me and poured another drink for me. "You are telling me? Me and my girls tend to go wild as well, though you have turned usually modest women into crazies by the sound of things."
We both laughed for a moment and as I had my next drink, I asked. "So, can you order an air cab here? The ladies want to go dancing. Do you recommend anywhere by the way?"
The hostess placed her elbow on the bar and genuinely thought for a moment. "Hmm, well before the whole fiasco down south, me and the girlies would go to a place just south of the border, near the strip, called Sophia's. The area was a little rough, but the place was amazing and incredibly cheap. But these days, we go to luxuries. It's about twenty minutes north of here via air cab if you are interested? It is a bit more expensive, but considering your standing and how causally you carry around ingots of pure platinum, I doubt that will be a problem for you sir."
"That sounds perfect, thank you. Can you order it for me and fetch up the ladies a drink with caffeine in it? I am suspecting the food will have begun absorbing some of the alcohol, making them sleepy."
The hostess smiled at me again, making me want to get Sophia to hire her as she genuinely had left an impression on me this day, and she said, "Sure thing, I am happy to be of service."
'Hmmm. Delilah knew mother would send someone after her due to her disobedience. Oh I am such a proud little Bloodfiend, now where would she go?' Keyla thought to herself as she was flying a 'liberated' air cab that Ronnie had convinced not to engage its alarm system so the cult could freely use it.
She was still over the ocean as she began thinking. 'Delilah will want to go somewhere packed so she can hide, and given the information on Zeona, when they have had a drink, they get impulsive... So that leaves a couple options open... Dancing would be my guess.'
She then took the Apollo factor into things. Her love was a simple man, he wouldn't want to travel too far and wouldn't care about admission prices or drink prices, Delilah and Zeona were also nobles, so they would want to go somewhere expensive.
Keyla began mapping out clubs and similar places in a mental map from the speakeasy and nodded her head. Apollo would definitely ask a member of staff where to go and they would most likely recommend that place.
A lot of her thoughts were 'predictimations', but the fact she had been right so much in the past on even less facts, Keyla was confident she was going to find her Apollo.
Keyla was about to check on her under-link to see how Sophia and the party was coming along. If it was nearly done, she might tell Apollo a few hours into their dancing fun, but decided against it. She was going to abuse her ability to hunt targets to get one final night before Sophia and the others start hogging him.
"Watch your head, easy! There you go. Sit down there you go." I guided Delilah into the air cab and had her take a seat. Just as I was about to help Zeona inside next, the hostess came outside holding a piece of paper.
"Excuse me, sir Apollo." I turned around and smiled. "Hey, is everything ok?" My smile seemed to catch the woman off guard, but she composed herself quickly. "Here, this is for you." She then handed over the piece of paper.
On it was the word. "Mirage." "You came as a guest tonight as the speakeasy is an invite only location, I am extending an invitation to join. That will be your password to enter in the future. I hope we receive your patronage again."
I tapped the card against my palms and chuckled. "I am sure you will. Thank you very much, have a pleasant, whatever time it is."
I then turned back to Zeona who was leaning against the cab. "Are you sure you want to go dancing? You look ready for bed." The words seemed to perk her up as she said. "Hah! You wish! Dancing time! Whooo! She then dragged me into the air cab and pushed me onto the seat before using my lap as her seat.
The door then closed behind us as the air cab took off. "Delilah! Wakey time! Complimentary Alcohol! Stat!" Zeona yelled, causing Delilah to also get a second wind as she pulled a bottle of sparkly stuff from out of nowhere.
Zeona then wrapped her arms around my neck to make herself stable and a moment later, she jolted in place, realising where she was.
Turning slowly to me, she looked to take stock of my facial expression, but became baffled by my lack of anything but a kind smile. "Apollo? Are you ok?" She asked, causing me to tilt my head in confusion. "Yeah why? Do I not look ok?"
Zeona wasn't bothered about the fact she was sitting on a man's lap. In her drunk brain, she hadn't even fully registered the fact. What confused her was the lack of pain on Apollo's face.
"Apollo, I weigh nearly a ton with my augments. Does that really not cause you pain?" She then bounced on my lap to make a point that she was heavy, causing me to realise that she did actually weigh a little bit, I was just so used to my bugs with their biomass dense muscles that it didn't bother me.
"No, it's fine. Look" I then casually lifted the woman off my lap before putting her back down. "But if you are concerned, there are literally four other seats you can sit in."
Delilah at this moment moved to the seat next to me and pinched her friend's ass after putting down the flute glasses down next to her. "Yeah Zee, Zee. Go sit somewhere else so I can sit there. Hahaha!"
As Delilah passed one of the glasses to Zeona, she suddenly began wiggling her rear to get comfortable as she looked at me with a smirk. "No, I don't think I will, I am quite comfortable here. Are you ok with that Apollo?" Her eyes looked at me, expectantly.
"Sure, you are free to sit there if that is what you wish. Thanks dear." I then turned to Delilah and thanked her as she passed me the drink.
Zeona then giggled and wiggled her rear again trying to get comfortable and then drank her drink in one. "Another!"
She repeated this action multiple times over the course of the air cab ride, to the point by the end, she had shimmied her way from my leg down to my crotch area, leaning her entire body against me.
Now, I was no expert on picking up on women's hints, I usually can only tell if they straight up explain it to my face like Kathrine did, but I was starting to get the suspicion that Zeona might ever so slightly be into me...
