She could no longer rely on her parents; now, she and Gu Ya had to deal with Mrs. Tao and her group together. It was their Su Family affair, and she couldn’t let Gu Ya face it alone.
Su Yunjin tried to step out from behind Gu Ya but was held back by his hand, preventing her from coming forward, “Yunjin, I am confident I can handle them, don’t worry.”
Gu Ya coolly observed Mrs. Tao and her group. Though there were five grown men, three of them looked strong but useless. Gu Ya didn’t regard them as a threat. The other two were tall, but for someone like Gu Ya, who had regularly hunted in the mountains, they were of no concern.
Having faced wolves and tigers in the mountain several times, the men before him were nothing! Su Yunjin, restrained by Gu Ya’s large hand, stopped and stood still behind him.
With so many people on her side, Mrs. Tao’s confidence was bolstered. Even when she looked at Gu Ya, her gaze was disdainful, “Hmph, let me tell you, if you are wise today, you’ll hand over Su Ningxiu obediently to me and give me a proper apology.
