Luckily, when Su Yunjin went to fetch medicine for Gu Ya, she had also bought some baked buns at the market, and now, the buns she brought home could be used to fill her stomach.
She took out a bun to eat for herself and asked Gu Ya, “Husband, I bought some buns at the market, do you want one?”

After finishing one bun, Su Yunjin decided to leave one for Gu Ya, and give the remaining two to her fifth brother, Jianghai, and his wife Mrs. Chu, one each.
Today, her fifth brother Jianghai had helped her and Gu Ya move the grain, and he would help them build the kitchen stove later on; it was only fair to share the buns with him and his wife.
