Su Yunjin couldn’t persuade Gu Ya.
She didn’t continue to argue about this issue with Gu Ya either.

She had made half of the Pickled Fish Sauce yesterday, and the other half was left to be made today. After busying herself for most of the day, Su Yunjin finally finished making the rest of the Pickled Fish Sauce.
Pickled Fish Sauce needed about half a month of fermentation before it could be eaten.
After making it, Su Yunjin didn’t need to attend to it anymore.
She would just have to wait a month and then sell it at the Fuman Building.
Dusting off her hands, Su Yunjin placed her hands on her hips and looked at the jars of Pickled Fish Sauce she had just made with satisfaction. Not bad, with these newly made Pickled Fish Sauce,
she would be able to make a good sum of money.
After making the Pickled Fish Sauce, Su Yunjin didn’t go back to her room but went to find her brother-in-law Gu Jianghai instead. She planned to ask for Gu Jianghai’s help with the house building.
Gu Jianghai was a decent man and Gu Ya’s younger brother. Having grown up in the Gu Family village, Su Yunjin believed Gu Jianghai was very familiar with house construction.
Asking for Gu Jianghai’s help would save her half the effort.
Su Yunjin went to Mrs. Chu’s room, where Mrs. Chu was busy making clothes for Aluo. On seeing Su Yunjin, she put down her needlework and cheerfully went to greet her,
“Third sister-in-law, you’re here? Please, have a seat!”
Su Yunjin didn’t sit down, as she was there to find Gu Jianghai. She looked inside the room, but on not seeing Gu Jianghai, she tentatively asked Mrs. Chu, “Sister-in-law, where’s Jianghai? Why don’t I see him?”
“Third sister-in-law, do you need Jianghai for something?” Mrs. Chu asked, knowing that normally the third sister-in-law wouldn’t seek out her husband Gu Jianghai without a reason.
Su Yunjin nodded, “Indeed, sister-in-law, I have a bit of business with Jianghai.”
Once Mrs. Chu confirmed Su Yunjin was actually there to find her husband, she told Su Yunjin, “Third sister-in-law, it’s unfortunate timing. My husband has gone out and hasn’t returned yet.”
Su Yunjin raised her eyebrows.
It seems she really did come at an inconvenient time.
Mrs. Chu suggested, “Third sister-in-law, how about this! When my husband comes back, I will have him come to find you.”
Now, that was the only option.
However, Su Yunjin disagreed with letting Gu Jianghai come to find her, and planned to come herself to look for him again. Gu Ya was insistent on waiting until his leg was healed before starting on the house.
If Jianghai went to find her,
wouldn’t he then come to know about it?
Before starting on the house, Su Yunjin planned to keep it from Gu Ya for the time being.
“Sister-in-law, when Jianghai comes back, please just let me know, and I’ll come find him then.”
Mrs. Chu agreed with a smile, “Sure, no problem.”
Leaving her brother-in-law’s wife Mrs. Chu, Su Yunjin returned to her room, only to find Gu Ya had surprisingly gotten out of bed and was standing up.
Su Yunjin was shocked and dumbfounded.
Gu Ya had actually gotten out of bed!
And was standing on the ground.
