The little thing dared to fool him last night while he was drunk.
Now, he would let the little thing know whether Gu Ya was really that easy to fool.
Su Yunjin swallowed hard.
Gu Ya’s gaze on her grew even brighter as he waited for Su Yunjin to bring up the promise about consummating their marriage–a matter from the previous night when, indeed, Gu Ya had been drunk.
But not so drunk that he didn’t know anything!
The little thing’s words from last night were still remembered by Gu Ya, “Yunjin, you personally agreed to this last night, so no going back on your word!”
The little thing just loved to go back on her word.

Su Yunjin looked at Gu Ya, her eyes wide with shock–wasn’t that man supposed to be drunk last night? How could he possibly remember what she had said to him?
Could it be that last night Gu Ya was just pretending?
Deliberately deceiving her!
With this realization, Su Yunjin glared at Gu Ya with wide-open eyes and directly asked him, “Are you saying you were pretending last night?”
“Pretending what?” Gu Ya feigned ignorance.
Su Yunjin gritted her teeth, “Pretending to be drunk!”
Gu Ya smiled, “Yunjin, in that case, I truly wasn’t pretending, I was indeed drunk.” He had indeed been quite drunk last night, and there was no need for him to pretend.
Even if he wasn’t pretending to be drunk, tricking her must have been intentional.
Without thinking, Su Yunjin blurted out.
“Then you saying that last night you tricked me into agreeing to–” Su Yunjin almost let the rest of her sentence slip out, but fortunately, she stopped herself just in time.
Yet, Gu Ya’s gaze was intense as he looked at her, “Yunjin, agreeing to what?” He wanted his young wife to admit to having agreed to consummate their marriage.

Rolling her eyes at Gu Ya, Su Yunjin said, “Complete nonsense!”
Now it was Gu Ya’s turn to scowl.
Watching Gu Ya’s face turn instantly dark, Su Yunjin chuckled quietly to herself, feeling quite good to see the man at a loss.
Gu Ya had finished the accounts for Fuman Building, and today Ding Wang from Fuman Building was going to come over. In addition to picking up the accounts Gu Ya had prepared, he would also bring Gu Ya’s wages.

Ding Wang was astounded.
Su Yunjin and Gu Ya, husband and wife, looked at each other and then Su Yunjin explained with a smile, “Brother Ding Wang, you’re not seeing things wrong. My husband can now stand up!”
Coming back to his senses, Ding Wang was still incredulous, “Brother Gu, are you really alright now?”
“Yes, Brother Ding, I’m truly fine now! In the future, I won’t have to lie down anymore,” Gu Ya said with a smile. Ding Wang walked over to Gu Ya and looked him up and down.
Seeing that Gu Ya was indeed fine,
Ding Wang couldn’t help but beam with joy, saying, “Brother Gu, it’s great that you’re alright.”
