Mrs. Zhang mainly intended these words for Wan Ruyan to hear.

Thus, Mrs. Zhang deliberately said, “Second sister, brother-in-law, I’m speaking the truth. If you don’t believe it, you can see for yourself in third brother’s room right now.”
Wan Ruyan stood aside, not saying a word.
Yet, because of Mrs. Zhang’s words, her thoughts turned numerous times.
Could it be true that Gu Ya’s legs were healed?
She had decided not to marry Gu Ya because of his leg. If Gu Ya’s legs were indeed fine, wouldn’t that be a boon for some other woman?
Wan Ruyan twisted her dress corners, her fingers so forceful they nearly tore the fabric.
