Gu Ya came in and said, “Fifth brother, sister-in-law, what Yunjin says is true. It’s a waste to have the house sitting empty. For you and sister-in-law to live there, it would not go to waste.”
After exchanging glances, Mrs. Chu and Gu Jianghai ceased their refusals, since Su Yunjin and Gu Ya both insisted on their decision.
“Third brother, third sister-in-law, we will accept the house graciously. However, my wife and I cannot simply take your house for nothing. We should give you some silver in return!”

When Gu Ya informed his parents about moving out the next day, Mrs. An and Gu Chengxiang were jubilant for their son and daughter-in-law’s sake.

Gu Chengxiang nodded, “Glad to hear that!”
His young wife asked.

Under the night sky, his eyes softened, “Yunjin, both father and mother were very happy to hear that we’re moving to the new house tomorrow. Father even said that the Gu family is blessed to have married you and instructed me to take good care of you once we’ve moved.”
Su Yunjin blinked, mischievous and cunning as a small fox, “Husband, since father has spoken, you must remember to treat me even better from now on, and listen to everything I say.”
Agreeably and with a smile in his eyes, Gu Ya replied, “Alright, I will listen to you in everything.”
