When Su Yunjin suddenly called out “my lord husband,” Gu Changshun revealed a mouthful of yellow, rotten teeth with a disgustingly lewd and repulsive smile toward her, not realizing that Gu Ya was standing right behind him at that moment.

His mouth was filled with mud too.
Fearing that Gu Changshun would fall on her, Su Yunjin swiftly dodged to the side just as Gu Changshun pounced. Gu Ya walked over to Su Yunjin, his face full of concern, and asked, “Yunjin, how are you? Are you alright?”
Turning to Gu Ya, Su Yunjin shook her head, “My lord, I’m fine.” Thankfully Gu Ya arrived just in time, otherwise, just thinking about what could have happened a moment ago still sent shivers down her spine.
Having made sure his little wife was alright, Gu Ya once again approached Gu Changshun with a grim face. After Gu Changshun spat out the mud, the sight of the suddenly appeared Gu Ya was unbelievable to him.
When had his uncle returned?
How did he suddenly reappear?
Gu Changshun looked at Gu Ya with a guilty conscience, wondering how much of his recent speech his uncle had heard.

Considering that Gu Ya had likely heard everything he had just said, he decided to go for broke and deal with Gu Ya as well.
He refused to believe he couldn’t handle a cripple!
If something were to happen to Gu Ya, then what he wanted to do with Su Yunjin—wasn’t that up to him? To have his way with her a couple of times, then sell her off! He could make a decent sum of money!
