Dong Qian was so angry that he ended up in the hospital.
He wasn’t in serious condition, but still called Gu Linhai and Meng Qian to the hospital in the middle of the night.

Pressed by the question, Dong Qian suddenly found himself tongue-tied. In the end, he just mumbled vaguely, "Anyway, I have to take her life."

"It’s not a big problem, even if they suspect you, without evidence they can’t do much." Gu Linhai said, "For you, Yanjing would give me some face. So don’t worry."
Meng Qian, somewhat appeased, agreed with him.
"If it were up to me, I’d just take her life." Dong Qian murmured, "Once she’s dead, Gu Yanjing will forget her in a few days. Saves the trouble."
"No." Gu Linhai opposed very firmly.
