The man had yet to remove his makeup and his hair was as dark as ink. His hair cascaded down his back like a waterfall and his suave eyebrows exuded an ancient charm which didn’t overwhelm his liveliness.
Resting his forehead in his long and slender fingers, Fu Jiayan yawned lazily and said, “Sorry, I was rehearsing my lines. Did I disturb you?”
The faces of the gossipmongers changed slightly. They had at least worked with the crew of “The Way” for a long time and read the script thoroughly. Hence, they knew that the male lead didn’t have such lines in his script.
Fu Jiayan was undoubtedly just scolding them.

The venue was set in an ancient building where the interior furniture had basically been removed so it was very spacious and clean.
There was a red veil, which seemed like a faint layer of mist. It was very contrasting and when the fan blew at it, it fluttered gently like flowing water.
Director Zheng was supervising the final adjustment of the lighting. The warm tone of the dim light made the atmosphere even more ambiguous than ever.
His eyes lit up when he saw Shi Sui and Xiang Yi coming over.
The first thing that surprised him was the ancient costume that Xiang Yi was wearing.
He was initially worried that Xiang Yi’s looks may not be suitable for the ancient costumes but he was surprised to see how good she looked. The ancient costume didn’t seem to be conflicting with her clothes either.
The red dress resembled flame that outlined her slender body.
Her eyeliner was slightly elongated and her eyes were beautiful, demonic, but not tacky in any way. It encapsulated her ravishing beauty.
A description suddenly came to Director Zheng’s mind.
A clean demon.
Those words, which should never be put together, seemed to be fused perfectly when used to describe Xiang Yi.
He had a flash of inspiration and he immediately changed his filming plan and made new arrangements for it!
