The Investiture: Unlimited Blade Works Nezha Chapter 643

The King was also stunned. He actually wanted to say that there are good people and bad people, just like there are good demons and bad demons. His Queen was actually a good demon.

But now that the Fox City had fallen, and was just short of being revived, what was the point of saying so much?

"Oh dear, I'm truly grateful to Elder Sun. I've been deceived by this demon and committed wrongs. It's truly unforgivable, truly unforgivable!"

Sun Wukong was not stupid; he immediately saw that the King wanted to shift all blame onto the demon. If the fox spirit were still alive, she would probably exclaim that she's even more wronged than Dou E.

You desired my beauty, and I had ill intentions, even bringing you a green hat. We're equally matched, so let's not talk about each other.

The Monkey didn't want to bother with these matters, he only wished to vanquish demons.

"I heard this demon also had a father? Where is he now?"

"Uh, he should be in the Imperial Mansion at this time."

Sun Wukong told Bajie and Sha Wujing to keep an eye on the master, then rode his cloud to the residence of the Imperial Mansion, where the Deer Demon was leisurely drinking tea, enjoying the service of a group of maids.

"Audacious Demon, you dare use children's hearts for alchemy. Grandpa Sun shall vanquish you today!"

After speaking, he jumped down, fearing collateral damage to humans, he did not use any divine skills.

The Deer Demon quickly got up, calling forth a wooden staff and engaging Sun Wukong. Internally he was puzzled, he had told the fox spirit not to cause trouble and just let the master and disciples pass through, wasn't that enough?

Why is the fight coming to my doorstep?

The Deer Demon's cultivation was higher than Sun Wukong's, but following a Yangsheng expert, he hadn't learned any combat magic skills, and was far from Sun Wukong's match.

"Great Saint, this is a misunderstanding, Great Saint!"

Sun Wukong heard something was amiss. As he traveled, he understood that some tribulations were intentionally sent by those above to make things difficult for them. If it couldn't be solved, just call for assistance.

But this time was different; this was truly a human-eating demon. Could this demon truly have celestial connections?

The Deer Demon noticed Sun Wukong's hesitation and quickly caught his breath, saying, "Great Saint, did the fox spirit offend someone? I'll apologize right away. You all have important matters at hand, best proceed quickly."

Sun Wukong turned his eyes, the demon's words implied that things were not simple.

He put away his staff, feigning calmness, "You demon are wise in your own way. Judging by your speech, you're not from a desolate mountain, how could you do such things?"

The Deer Demon looked as though he had something difficult to express, then pointed to the sky.

"Great Saint, I will leave the Kingdom of Biqiu now and never return, farewell!"

Having said so, he used the Earth Escape Technique to flee. What's the fox spirit? Not familiar, whether alive or dead he didn't care.

Sun Wukong raised his head again to look at the sky, then pursued without hesitation and soon arrived beside a willow tree.

Thinking about how to enter, just then, a small head emerged from the soil beside him.

"Great Saint, Great Saint!"

"Oh? And you are?"

"No need for words, Great Saint. You should do like this, then like that, and you will be able to enter."

"Thank you."

Following the Earth God's method, Sun Wukong successfully infiltrated the space within the willow tree.

The Earth God smiled subtly and vanished.

The space within the willow was larger than Sun Wukong imagined, and was magnificently beautiful, quite unlike a demon's lair.

Sun Wukong transformed into a fox and roamed about, soon hearing the cries of children.

Following the sound, he arrived at the Alchemy Room, and saw hundreds of bamboo baskets similar to those on the streets of the Kingdom of Biqiu. Flying over to check, he found them filled with children.

Continuing deeper, he saw two little monsters chatting, while carrying out a rather cruel task.

"Hui San, just what kind of elixir is the Great King refining, requiring the hearts and livers of Human Clan children?"

"The Great King's business isn't ours to tamper with, he's someone who descended from the skies, how could we compare?"

"Ah, this butchering task is hard to endure, only watching but not eating, it's really unbearable."

"You fool, once we switch shifts, sneak a few bodies, who would find out?"

"Impossible, impossible, there's a count of these, how could we sneak any?"

"You're truly dull-minded, no wonder you've cultivated for hundreds of years but remain at the lowest level, we'll just patch them up later..."

Sun Wukong watched this cruel scene, his eyes turned red. Just as he was about to call celestial assistance, he found things amiss, and the Earth God appeared again.

"Great Saint, you should proceed, I have a way for these children."

Sun Wukong rejoiced.

"Good, good, good, when the time comes, Grandpa Sun will reward you once for your efforts."

"No need, no need, Great Saint, please don't mention me."

Sun Wukong was already on the verge of anger, didn't care how the Earth God arrived, or how he saw through his transformation technique.

What method the Earth God used was unknown, the soil beneath the babies began to wriggle, and they disappeared instantaneously.

The two little monsters were fantasizing about an extra meal after work, when suddenly their work was halted.

"What's going on, I remember there's still a lot?"

Seeing the babies were safe, Sun Wukong no longer hid, he came out with his huge staff.

"Eat, eat, eat, Grandpa Sun will treat you to something good!"

The Jingu Bang smashed down, causing blood and flesh to splatter from the little monster, the other one attempted to escape, yet Sun Wukong stabbed it dead with his staff.

Subsequently, Sun Wukong entered berserk mode, killing demons where he saw them, smashing objects where he found them. Entering further, he saw a giant pill furnace, without hesitation, a swift kick overturned it.

The flames within the furnace, once toppled, began to spread rapidly.

Sun Wukong used his skill to blow a gust of strong wind, the fire took advantage, swiftly spreading, and everything around was reduced to ashes.

The Deer Demon came rushing and was so shocked at what he saw, it was as if he'd lost his horse.

"My elixirs, my elixirs!"

"You cursed Horses' Fortune, you're in big trouble!"

Was Sun Wukong afraid? Not even a bit!

He charged up, striking out with his staff, causing the Deer Demon to collapse, spewing blood. Seems like making someone spout blood doesn't necessarily require couplets, a staff will do!

"Little Monkey Demon, you dare harm me? Do you know who's behind me? My lord hails from the Chan Sect, a Saint disciple, how dare you, Monkey?"

Sun Wukong knew now that the world wasn't as simple as he once believed, but he wasn't scared!

If righteous aspirations fail to cut through the thorns, what's the point of this journey westward?

"Grandpa Sun will now take you to the Heavenly Court, I must see who your lord really is!"

"If the Heavenly Court cannot uphold justice, then let Grandpa Sun's staff do it."

The Deer Demon didn't expect Sun Wukong to be so fearless, having grown up beside the Nanji Immortal, always learning the diplomatic way of life, he was now at a loss.

If this matter gets stirred up by this young demon, it'll indeed cause a big uproar, since he's also unsure if the Old Longevity Star still counts as a disciple of Chan Sect and if he would be protected.

"Oh, Great Saint, Great Grandpa Saint, no, little demon was just joking. Here, I have some good stuff to offer as an apology to Grandpa Sun, I'll never do this again, can you spare me just this once?"

From calling him a foul monkey demon to fearing and addressing him as Great Saint Grandpa Sun, the change was truly laughable.

"I don't have such a grandson!"

Sun Wukong picked up his Jingu Bang and thrust it into the Deer Demon's chest, with a puff sound, coming out the other side.

The Deer Demon, having Taiyi Golden Immortal cultivation, wasn't easily killed. Sun Wukong hefted him up on his shoulder, ignoring his cries, and rode the cloud to the Heavenly Court, leaving a trail of blood.
