Before she finished speaking, she pushed herself up with her arms, her legs still shaking from his earlier teasing. Stumbling forward a couple of steps, her body swayed.
"I’ll do it," Yu Zexiao followed her down in a timely manner, reaching out and effortlessly scooping her up in a fireman’s lift.
With the world spinning momentarily, Jian Anning came to her senses to find herself in his arms. She wasn’t quite used to such intimate contact with him yet and her cheeks reddened, "Let go of me."
"Let’s take a shower together," he murmured softly, lowering his head to gently nip her earlobe.
"No, that’s not possible! The assistant director said we have to go film." She said blankly, still remembering the scene from last night when Yu Zexiao threw her into the bathtub and ravaged her, the words "let’s take a shower together" suddenly took on a different implication...
Yu Zexiao slightly leaned in, looking at her face still flushed with the remnants of ravishment, but she was trying hard to keep a straight face, putting on a somber act. This strenuous attempt upwards made him chuckle softly.
His Adam’s apple bobbing, he carried her into the bathroom and stepped into the tub, tapping her little nose, "What are you thinking about? A shower is just a shower. If you want, I’ll give it to you tonight."
"I, I don’t want it," she immediately shook her head, her head flailing like a rattle drum.
"Is that so?" He smiled broadly, suddenly bringing his handsome face closer, his voice like tender whispers shared between lovers, "But last night, who was it that kept clinging to me, crying, and leaving circles of bite marks all over my shoulder?"
"Yu Zexiao!" Jian Anning felt both shy and angry. This guy had no understanding of cherishing the tender and delicate; his movements were too rough and aggressive, more than she could take, which left her no choice but to leave teeth marks on his shoulder.
Yu Zexiao chuckled lowly and suddenly, gently kissed the corner of her lips, "Anning, I’m very happy."
He was very happy, for he now finally had her!
It was just a simple sentence, a plain statement that instantly filled her heart with tenderness and sweet affection.
Although she was still a bit uncomfortable with the fact that they had really transitioned from assistant to lovers, seeing his happy demeanor made her heart sweeten.
