Living here, cooking was hardly an option; the only thing I could do was help him make tea and coffee.
Yu Zexiao, standing behind, finally said faintly, "Whatever."
"Then I’ll make tea for you. We just got some fresh Tieguanyin," Jian Anning said as she went about adjusting the water temperature while talking.
"Okay," Zexiao replied, still with little emotion, and walked toward the bathroom, seeing her bending down to test the water, which she had almost adjusted to the perfect temperature. It was a standard shower room, with warm water gently pouring down from the overhead nozzle, a hint of mist surrounding her, as if she were draped in a layer of sheer fabric. The dress she had on, made of a rather thin material, clung to her wet skin, as if tinted with color, defining her figure with a touch of jade.
Hearing his footsteps, Jian Anning turned around and smiled at him, "You’re here, the water temperature should be just right now. I put your pajamas aside, I—ah!"
But Yu Zexiao, watching her speak, suddenly took a step forward and pushed her backward!
"Swoosh!" He didn’t care if he was still clothed, and without a word, he pushed her against the wall. Like a scene out of a TV drama, the water from the showerhead rained down from above onto their heads and bodies, quickly drenching them in the warm flow.
Jian Anning’s original serene expression became tinged with an indescribable allure when sprinkled with the water. The incident in the car that afternoon hadn’t entirely faded, her body still felt limp and unable to stand firm, and her lips, nibbled by him, were slightly swollen, now even more brilliant and eye-catching under the hot water.
And yet, her alluring lips parted without her realizing, revealing the shiny white teeth inside. A soft, muffled voice came from her throat, "Zexiao, what’s wrong? Is the floor too slippery, did you lose your footing?"
She didn’t suspect Yu Zexiao had any ulterior motive toward her, because if he had wanted anything, he wouldn’t have waited until now; he would have made a move right from the start.
But now, Yu Zexiao just kept staring at her, as if trying to see something in her eyes, which made her feel very strange. She asked in confusion, "Zexiao, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell? Tired? Or do you have a cold? Or are you worried about your family?"
Yu Zexiao kept his gaze fixed on her, her soft and engaging voice filled with genuine concern, and together with her makeup-free face which appeared even more charming under the running water, suddenly a wicked flame ignited in his heart!
He remembered, he remembered she had said that she wasn’t just his second man, but also that it was her second time!
So, under what circumstances did the first man who had her, be with her? In bed, in a car, or in a bathroom?
In the bathroom, was it like last time, in a bathtub, or a regular shower ?
He was determined to erase all her memories of her ex-boyfriend!
