The style, decor, and furniture in the room were clearly from Yi Chen’s original world. Combining this with the Duke’s words made the conclusion obvious.

Yi Chen didn’t hurry to get out of bed, instead he checked his physical condition first.

But if the pet dies, it might trigger a ‘chain reaction.’ Without more information about the gamble, it’s better not to cause too much commotion.”
Yi Chen first left the bedroom, trying to go to his parents’ room on the second floor.

Back on the first floor,

Walking quickly along the stone path of the front yard, he successfully reached the stand-alone mailbox at the front gate.
As he forced open the rusted door of the mailbox, a pile of letters spilled out.
There were hundreds of identical letters stuffed inside, and Yi Chen randomly grabbed a handful to stuff into his pocket.
As he turned around to head back into the house,
the obedient Xue Rui was already squatting at the door, but its body looked strange, as if something was wriggling inside it.
The children from the nearby houses all gathered at their windows, casting sympathetic or fearful glances,
