Lauren never imagined that the same incident would happen again.

Lauren could no longer tolerate his twisted logic, angrily retorted, "You’re talking nonsense!"
Rod sneered, "People like you, with such weak conviction, are potential sources of instability. In dealing with the enemy, one must be cold and merciless as winter, making no sense whatsoever."
He raised his right fist high.
"I share no common sky with evil!"
In the end, this operation still came to a conclusion.
The team led by Lauren achieved tremendous success, and the plan was executed perfectly, with results far surpassing initial expectations.
Although everything that followed deviated from the original plan.
And they could have secured even more victories.
But this could still not be understated as a tremendous success.
Post-battle statistics showed that including the Black Priest, a total of over sixty Doomsday believers were killed, more than twenty Brain-eating Demons hidden in the Iron Ingot District were eradicated, and a Hunter safehouse was uncovered.
The Polluter Sect exploited the Iron Ingot District’s weakness, where a large number of undocumented migrants and complex management provided an opportunity for continuous hunting of migrants, creating blood food and feeding the Brain-eating Demons.
Once these monsters reached adulthood, they could enter the Spirit Realm, making them extremely difficult to eliminate, and they would treat their place of growth as a nest, ferociously hunting living beings.
The Judgers eradicated them in time, preventing countless tragedies from occurring.
In subsequent investigations, Lauren, using the information gathered, followed the trail and uprooted the Doomsday Cult entrenched in the Iron Ingot District and its vicinity, destroying all their hideouts there.
For a time, the entire area’s public security and defense dramatically improved, and the power of the Polluter Sect was heavily struck.
Later, Lauren opened a hidden chamber at 13 Baker Street in the second major district using a key found on the Black Priest and found the true "Alex," whose fate was initially altered.
The curse was thereby broken, and the altered fate fully reverted to its original place, and the final shred of discord disappeared.
Most importantly, the Holy Church’s Anti-curse Cult captured the trace of the altered fate, leading them to discover many more individuals with replaced destinies hidden within the ranks.
Most of them held ranks far below district governors, perhaps indicating some limitation to this ability.
But this was not entirely reassuring, as a few key position changes could have made a significant impact.
The Redstone Village relocation incident slipped through in this way, with collaborators letting through a large number of unchecked materials and people, ultimately leading to the tragedy in Redstone Village.
With the investigation continuing to this point, the entire Redstone Village case has essentially been clarified.
The culprits are undoubtedly the Polluter Sect.
The Polluter Sect obtained an unknown powerful forbidden item and formulated the "Savior Plan" through interpreting this item.
Believing that a special Large Fragment was hidden in Redstone Village, the Polluter Sect took advantage of the village’s relocation to murder the entire team, sacrificing over two hundred lives to complete the Spirit Realm ritual.
But for some unknown reason, it failed, and the direct culprit likely fled back to the ranks of the Polluter Sect.
While some details are still unclear, the main processes of the entire case are now quite transparent.
Throughout this, the initial suspect Rod played a huge role; his multiple actions dealt significant blows to the Doomsday believers, and the intelligence he provided greatly helped in advancing the case investigation, clarifying the Polluter’s conspiracy, and disrupting their plans.
If Rod were a "Crow," "Investigator," "Judger," or any ordinary position within the Internal Affairs Court, he would have received a significant promotion, as well as a permanent subsidy salary and the Medal of Honor provided by the Royal City Supreme Council.
Unfortunately, he was just a student.
And a recent enrollee at that.
How to reasonably award him within the rules became an unprecedented agenda item for the Fire Holy Hall, taking up fifteen minutes of time from the influential figures who could decide human fate.
In the end, it was decided that the Dean Theodore would give him a huge amount of study credits and the highest scholarship reward, and the Internal Affairs Court would grant him a "Fire Guardian" medal.
All of his merits were recorded in detail, to be recognized with corresponding honors once he became an official Combatant.
During the process, some opposed, mainly questioning Rod’s act of shooting the Black Priest at the end, suggesting it reduced the imminent gains and had the appearance of silencing a witness.
This view was refuted by Mibor, Black Bear, and Laisa Blue Moon, three Great Judges.
