Molly nodded lightly, "Avi is right, if you had seen the super-giant Spiritual Energy imager in the Royal City, you would understand that even before the Dark World, Trolian was merely a speck of glowing dust."
Everyone’s faces turned pale, and their expressions were not good.
Rod smiled, "Don’t be afraid, I..."
He was interrupted by Molly’s stern gaze before he could finish.
"Okay... this is Mephit, my partner."
Rod sat down abruptly, while Mephit stood silently behind him.

She held a black pointer and pointed to the northwest of the sand table.
There was a large mass of floating black particles slowly moving, its size already surpassing that of Star Town.
"This is the Monster Tide that is about to hit us."
Rod was slightly startled. So many monsters?

This group of monsters was not of a high rank, only reaching Mature Level, without even a Fierce Level, but they were the type of creatures all combatants least wanted to encounter.
They were known as Aries Demons.
According to research from the Royal City’s Rose School, these were ancient demons that had strayed from the Abyss and had become corrupted, exhibiting two very troublesome characteristics.
Abyss Attribute and Reproduction.
The Abyss Attribute is something all Abyss Monsters have; they automatically emit Abyssal Aura, polluting the land.
If the pollution was severe enough, the area would turn into an Abyss. The gathering of Black Fog in the Abyss would breed Abyss Abnormal Demons.
The Underground City became an Abyss lair in just this way.
The other characteristic, Reproduction, allowed Aries Demons to split into smaller Aries Demons when they suffered fatal injuries.
The smaller ones would split again upon death, continuing until they turned into dust.
It is a type of heavy pollutant, not only releasing a vast amount of Abyssal Aura but also attracting Black Fog like Corrosive Material.
If they fought within the range of fire, the ubiquitous dust would attract a lot of Black Fog into the firelight, compressing the range of the fire or even extinguishing it.
If they fought outside the range of fire, the dust drifting in the Black Fog for a period of time and absorbing enough Black Fog would grow back into Aries Demons.
So, this is a particularly troubling group of monsters. Without special measures, they simply cannot be dealt with.
There have been multiple settlements destroyed by the Aries Demon groups , and the Royal City has listed it as a malignant major threat.
It is not advised to fight them unless absolutely necessary.
The group of Aries Demons Star Town was facing was unusually large.
Molly said, "According to intelligence, they will reach Star Town within one clock hour."
The atmosphere in the venue was grave, except for Rod, who looked relaxed.
"Don’t worry, I can easily handle this little problem. You all don’t need to lift a finger, just stand behind me and cheer."
