Rod couldn’t help but ask, "What condition?"
Iyeta answered for the teacher, "The most crucial and important is the soul core that is related to destiny."
"A soul core related to destiny? What’s that?"
"What we can think of now is the legacy of the Ancient God of Destiny, which is why the plan of the ancient gods must proceed, but our many attempts at exploration and searching have all failed. Currently, the only clue we have left is you."
Iyeta nodded, her gaze fixed intently on him, "You carry the aura of the Ancient God of Destiny, Asa calls you the Son of Destiny, and the Book of Destiny can’t influence the trajectory of your fate, not even when you were very weak. We speculate that you may have some connection with the Ancient God of Destiny, perhaps a part of it exists within your soul."
Rod said in shock, "What do you mean?"
Meredith spoke gently, "Little Rod, you don’t know, beings with strong wills are not so easily eradicated, even if their souls are extinguished, their will can potentially linger in the Void, to condense into a soul again at the right time."
Rod exclaimed, "Are you saying, they can be reincarnated?"
Meredith replied with a smile, "Reincarnated? That adjective is quite apt. You can think of it that way."
"But generally speaking, human souls acquire only a fragment of it, and it only occupies a part of the human soul. Therefore, we suspect that a part of the Ancient God of Destiny is within your soul, hence you have inherited some of its characteristics."
Iyeta said, "Therefore, we can use this to trace its source, and then possibly to find the main existence of the Ancient God of Destiny, we might be able to find the soul core related to destiny."
Hearing this, Rod finally understood all this and couldn’t help but ask in his mind, "Book, what does this have to do with the Doomsday believers who attacked me?"
The Book of Knowledge was repairing the Obelisk and casually answered, "I don’t know."
"You don’t know? Then why did you ask me to come to the White Tower?"
"Me?" The Book of Knowledge asked curiously, "Did I say that? Did I ask you to go to the White Tower?"
Rod furrowed his brow and recalled carefully for a moment. His memory was certainly not wrong, and the Book of Knowledge could not lie to its master. At most, it might choose not to answer, but it couldn’t deliberately give a wrong answer.
So, there was only one possibility left: the Book of Knowledge had indeed forgotten this matter subjectively.
Rod was puzzled but didn’t show it. Instead, he directly posed this question to them. Of course, he did not mention the Dream Realm or the invasion, simply saying that the Doomsday believers were harassing him and causing him great disturbance.
Iyeta frowned, "Doomsday believers? Are these vermin from the gutters even worth wasting our prophecies on?"
But Meredith stopped him.
"Wait, Iyeta, my intuition tells me that this matter is somehow connected to us. Perhaps, the key lies in the Great Sect Leader Asa and that Book of Destiny."
Iyeta’s eyes flickered with uncertain suspicion, but he was not sure.
"Regardless, let’s hold a retracing prophecy based on the source of Rod’s soul first."
Meredith agreed with his suggestion.
Then, in the Prophetic Hall, Meredith and Iyeta, along with dozens of prophets and apprentices, conducted a grand prophecy ritual for him.
Rod was somewhat nervous, but not too worried, as the existence of the Dream Realm was unlikely to be discovered in this manner.
The Book of Knowledge also gave an affirmative answer but scoffed at Meredith and the others’ claims.
"The master of the Dream Realm, cannot possibly be the reincarnation of any Ancient God."
"The Ancient God of Destiny must have fallen long ago. That Book of Destiny may well be made from the fragments of its soul, which can’t even be compared to the noble and great me."
