The Last Monarch : Unlimited Regeneration Chapter 84

"Angel of Darkness and Death? Morvael?" Alvaric frowned. He didn’t understand and had never heard that name. "What is that? Some kind of angel or god?"

This time, Replika the Angel looked confused. She was surprised that Alvaric didn’t know information he should know. It didn’t make sense.

Replika the Angel wanted to say something, but she held back.

"Stop pretending to be ignorant! It’s really annoying," she complained.

"I really don’t understand."

Replika the Angel pointed her sword at Alvaric. "I don’t care. Whether you know or not doesn’t matter—because you’ll die, and I will be the ’chosen one’. Only one of us will live." Updates are released by 𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕝⟡𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕥⟡𝕟𝕖𝕥

Before he could finish his sentence, Replika the Angel vanished. In a split second, she was already behind Alvaric.

She swung her sword, but just before it could land, a blood shield blocked the attack.

Replika the Angel retreated. She chanted a spell, and dozens of fire spears materialized. Within a second, they flew rapidly toward Alvaric.

Dozens of fire spears hurtled at him.

He raised his hand. The surrounding blood formed a circular shield.

The spears struck the blood shield and exploded one by one. Blood splattered everywhere from the blasts, but Alvaric remained standing. He didn’t move an inch.

Replika the Angel changed tactics. Her left hands summoned a new magic vortex. From the ground, stone spikes erupted, accompanied by bolts of lightning.

Alvaric raised the Crimson Demon Sword and slashed the incoming spikes. His left hand held Vapper’s Dagger.

He leaped forward. Blood from the ground rose with him, forming thin wings on his back.

Replika the Angel met him with her sword. The first clash happened.

One strike, two strikes—metal clashing echoed through the air. Replika used all four of her arms to attack relentlessly. Sword from above, punch from the side, spells from behind and above.

Alvaric blocked them all. The blood around them moved swiftly, covering the areas he couldn’t guard in time. Small wounds appeared, but healed almost instantly.

Alvaric didn’t look troubled at all. His opponent was strong, but this was his domain. It would be strange if he lost.

"I don’t like your regeneration ability," muttered Replika the Angel, stepping back.

Alvaric didn’t answer. He pointed the Crimson Demon Sword forward. Its tip trembled.

From below, dozens of blood spears shot out like a sharp wave.

Replika the Angel leapt back repeatedly, trying to avoid the incoming blood spears. She kept dodging, but one of them hit her left shoulder.

Her left arm was destroyed. She was thrown backward and nearly fell. As her arm began to recover—

Alvaric was already in front of her. He didn’t give any time. He jumped high, then dove straight down at Replika the Angel. At the same time, dozens of blood spears shot down with him.

The Crimson Demon Sword struck Replika the Angel hard. The impact caused a massive burst. Blood, floor, and air all went wild. Both stood firm—neither pushed back.

Alvaric moved his other hand. The blood swords he had prepared multiplied rapidly. At the same time, Replika the Angel cast a spell. She conjured swords of fire, lightning, wind, and water in equal numbers.

Both attacks collided and vanished. Alvaric clicked his tongue in frustration. He formed even more blood spears—almost a thousand of them surged forward at high speed. Without hesitation, Replika the Angel responded in kind.

The attacks clashed again, creating a massive explosion. Once more, Alvaric’s assault was matched by Replika the Angel.

"Damn it, she’s strong."

Alvaric spun and kicked toward Replika the Angel’s head. The kick was blocked—but at the same time, he stabbed toward her stomach with Vapper’s Dagger.

But Replika the Angel had vanished. Alvaric’s eyes scanned the area. He smirked. Suddenly, she reappeared behind him. One of her hands swung again. But Alvaric had already read it with his Eye of the Monarch.

A thick stream of fire burst out like a wall, burning Alvaric from behind. Seconds later, smoke billowed—but Alvaric remained standing. His skin was scorched, but slowly healed. His eyes were cold.

"That’s enough," Alvaric said quietly.

He launched a sudden, unpredictable attack. In an instant, the entire room was filled with thick blood mist. This happened because he broke the blood into even finer particles and spread it throughout the space. It turned into a crimson fog.

"I didn’t expect you to be this strong. It’s surprising," Alvaric said.

Replika the Angel couldn’t see clearly where Alvaric was, except for the direction of his voice. She launched an attack in one direction, but nothing happened. He wasn’t there. That made her frustrated.

"Stop hiding, you coward!"

Alvaric walked slowly. He appeared in front of her, but vanished again just as she tried to strike. Replika the Angel felt like she was being toyed with. Her fists clenched tightly. Her eyes kept darting, trying to locate him.

She lashed out in all directions, but nothing hit. Suddenly, the sound of breathing came from behind.

Blood wrapped tightly around her entire body. Alvaric’s sword was already mid-swing. She couldn’t dodge this time.

One of her arms was severed. Her magic staff dropped to the ground again. Alvaric stabbed Vapper’s Dagger into her chest. Her chest cracked from the strike.

"This is my domain," Alvaric said flatly. "You never had a chance from the beginning. I know you’re strong—but this place belongs to me."

Replika the Angel opened her mouth and shot a massive fireball at him. But the attack missed. Alvaric had vanished.

Replika the Angel clicked her tongue, clearly annoyed. "Fight me fairly!" she shouted.

"You think this isn’t fair? This is my power. There’s no rule that says I can’t use it."

A second later, Replika the Angel’s eyes widened. She swallowed hard.

"What is this?" she gasped.

A massive blood sword floated in the air—its size rivaled that of a mountain. Below it, hundreds of writhing blood roots surged upward, ready to restrain Replika the Angel’s body.

"Damn it. Is he... stronger than me?"
