Klaus stopped beside Queen Lunara, who was panicking inside, considering he wasn't expecting Klaus to be there at that moment.
"You look disturbed," Klaus said, smiling at her.
'Of course, I looked disturbed. Why do you have to be handsome and caring?' She said inwardly, not daring to say it out loud.
"I am not disturbed. I was just startled you appeared all of a sudden when you should be sleeping," she found an answer that wasn't too obvious.
"I see. Well, I had enough sleep, so I woke up and decided to catch some fresh air. Who would have thought I would find you here?" He walked closer and sat beside her.
Naturally, this wasn't easy for the Queen, who was doing her best to keep a calm demeanour around Klaus. She wouldn't want to make it look obvious, which would defeat the whole purpose of looking nonchalant.
The queen was keeping her composure in check, and so far, it was being held by a thread. But she was holding it firm, thread or not.
However, she was dealing with Klaus, who loved nothing more than the thighs of a woman. Queen Lunara was clad in a black gown that was just too light to cover her thighs from Klaus's gaze.
Klaus most definitely wouldn't ignore something that alluring.
He lowered his head, and before the Queen could react, his head was already on her lap, causing her body to stiffen.
It was safe to say Klaus had developed the act of sleeping on the laps of ladies to the extent that he could easily do it regardless of the conditions around the woman.
He looked up and met Queen Lunara's gaze, causing him to smile.
"Are you blushing?" Klaus asked, watching her cheeks turn shades of red.
"Tsk, who is blushing, and who gave you permission to put your head on my lap?" she asked, not knowing how to react.
She had been doing her best to understand where this strange feeling she had been feeling for Klaus came from. However, just when she was making progress, this brat stepped in again and destroyed her composure.
"Do you want me to remove my head?" Klaus asked, but the Queen couldn't come up with an answer. She could only continue to stare at the brat who was smiling at her.
"Just relax. I won't eat you," Klaus said, adding, " unless you want me to." He would have licked his lips, but he wouldn't want the lady to lose her heart.
"What do you want?" Queen Lunara asked.
"You have many laps to sleep on, so why did you choose mine? Why not go to your many women?" Her tone wasn't like before; there were traces of things she couldn't figure out yet.
Klaus, who knew she was saying this just to know how his women would feel about this, smiled.
"I don't mind them ganging up on you for being a husband stealer. How can you expose your thighs like that, knowing they are my only weakness?"
His laughter echoed from the mountain, making Queenie and Nari turn and look in that direction.
"He is already awake, huh? I wonder what he is doing to Mother," Queenie said with a smile.
"It's Klaus. Right now, I am sure he has his head resting on her lap and making her wish she was never born," Nari responded, making Queenie widen her smile.
"I just hope she comes to terms with her feelings. Mother is just too stubborn sometimes, and while I love her stubbornness, this is a matter of the heart, and trust me, the two clearly share some connection.
I know you can feel it too, Nari, because I do. So it will be best if she figures that out before it's too late."
Queenie, who had already established that she and Klaus were together in their past lives, started to understand the trend.
So far, she had established the same thing between Klaus and Hanna, Lucy, Anna, Nari, and Nadia.
Now she started sensing that connection between Klaus and her mother, and that filled her with great joy.
After she recovered her memories and saw what her situation had put her mom through, she started wishing for her happiness. Knowing this could be a thing, she was both happy and hopeful for her to become Klaus's woman.
Though it's weird to share the same man with her mom, who wouldn't want to be with the most awesome warrior on Earth?
"Let's hope she becomes our sister soon, so I can call her Big Sister Luna," Nari smiled.
"We already have a Luna who is destined to be our sister, so what about Big Sister Nara?" Queenie smiled.
"Not a bad name, but I feel like we should just call her all three, depending on the space we are in. But I dibs on Big Sister Luna." The two ladies giggled and decided to wait.
On the mountain, Klaus looked at the beauty he was resting his head on and smiled.
"Tell me something, do you think we are meant to be together?" The question was simple yet deep, completely unexpected. Klaus just couldn't find a better way to ask this question.
This caused Queen Lunara's heart to race.
"Why did you ask that?" Queen Lunara asked.
"Because I feel like we are meant to be together. For some reason, I feel like I should hold you like a delicate flower and never let you go ever again. I know it's weird, but I trust my feelings and know this has a deeper meaning."
Queen Lunara could only stare at his handsome face but couldn't utter a single word. Her mind was still processing Klaus's words.
"Do you believe in past lives? Because I do..." Klaus suddenly asked, causing her beating heart to shake a little. The question was like a key turning the lock in both her heart and head.
"Where is all this coming from? I know you wouldn't be saying we were once lovers in our past life," she asked, a rare smile gracing her lips.
"That's the thing. I think you and I were lovers in our past lives. I even think we were more than that," Klaus also smiled.
"You think so?" she asked.
"Indeed. How else would I feel this way toward you if I hadn't played with this body before?" Klaus was trying to get handsy, but the Queen slapped his hand away.
He could rest his head on her lap, but he couldn't touch her butt, not just yet.
Klaus laughed, watching her cheeks turn red. She just looked too cute, and for that reason, he planned on making her understand his feelings before it was too late.
"I know we were together in our past, and I would want us to be together again. However, I also know you need to come to terms with your feelings for now.
But bear in mind that you cannot slip through my fingers, so keep that in the back of your mind while sorting out your feelings.
Also, spend more time with Lulu and Sofia. I have a feeling you three will hit it off." Klaus continued to rest his head on her lap. Soon, he was indeed asleep, probably not waking up for a while.
Queen Lunara was again left with a handsome man on her lap, and all she could do was stare at him. Of course, this time, her hands were brushing his head, and she slowly started admiring him even more.
However, she took his words to heart and knew she must start spending time with Luna and Sofia.
Klaus may not have spent much time with Sofia, the Dragon Mage, but he could sense faint traces of the feeling he was getting from Lulu and Queen Lunara, and because of that, he knew that the lady meant something to him.
