Now, the system floated like a carcass, hollow and collapsing.

Somewhere in the collapsing void, a file pulsed open.
Inside it was an echo—a copy of Jay.
Not truly him, not fully human. Just... familiar enough.
A mirror Jay, forged from all his darkest stats, rerouted behaviors, decisions he didn’t make, and all the ambition he once buried.
