Xu Xinduo went to a banquet with brother Zhang.
Brother Zhang told Xu Xinduo on the way there that he hoped that Xu Xinduo could have a toast with him and say something polite. It was probably a gesture to thank the editor-in-chief for allowing her to have a shoot for the cover.
By leaving a good impression on the editor-in-chief, she could maybe sign a long-term contract with the Li Liya Magazine.
In the past, magazines like Li Liya were resources that Star Entertainment Model Studio had no means of contacting at all, so it was natural for brother Zhang to grasp onto the opportunity when he could.
Xu Xinduo was a little embarrassed, “I’m very bad at drinking; I don’t think I can take a glass.”
“Actually, you don’t need to drink much. Everyone knows you’re a child and you’re a model, so it’s important to maintain your figure. Just have a sip to show your sincerity or something. This opportunity is rare, so you have to take advantage of it.”
Xu Xinduo was a little hesitant, and after thinking about it, she asked brother Zhang, “Can I leave after toasting a glass? I’m afraid of becoming intoxicated with the alcohol and making a fool of myself.”

Brother Zhang took Xu Xinduo and snuck inside. After the two entered the door, they pretended to be calm as if they were already part of the guest list before. After making sure that no one noticed them, brother Zhang began to look for Li Liya’s editor-in-chief.
Li Liya’s editor-in-chief was the focus of this wine party. There was an endless stream of people going to greet him and many people wanted to make friends, even if it was just for a brief moment.
Brother Zhang waited for a while and made sure that Li Liya’s editor-in-chief was not disturbed before taking Xu Xinduo over.
During this period, brother Zhang was chatting with the editor-in-chief and Xu Xinduo stood beside like an elegant vase(1).

Xu Xinduo had a simple daily style today. She wore a simple long skirt with a coat, but paired with her short hair, her demeanour was calm and elegant as she carried herself with excellent temperament.
The interior of the hotel was luxuriously decorated with intricate gold-plated patterns, somewhat imitating the style of the Russian Hermitage Museum. Standing inside it, Xu Xinduo matched the overall style very well.
With the rich patterns around them, some of the people in the banquet appeared as if they were in a painting. However, Xu Xinduo looked like she came out from the painting with her naturally ethereal appearance.
After seeing brother Zhang’s gesture, she immediately raised her glass to the editor-in-chief and expressed her gratitude. The glass she was holding contained some champagne. Usually, only a small amount of this drink would be poured and Xu Xinduo only drank some symbolically.
