In the crowd, the blood-smeared Benedict II turned his head and stared blankly.
Before the Angels could react, another voice rang out, "Allow me to introduce myself, I am the Slayer, Simon."
From the rolling dark clouds, a beam of Holy Light descended from the heavens.
Turning his face, Jeremy suddenly noticed Simon standing atop another roof’s chimney in the distance, bathed in the Holy Light and emitting smoke.
Not just Jeremy, all the Angels were stunned, everyone was stunned.
*However, what could shock the Angels had just begun. There was nothing a Lich dared not do, that included both evil and justice!*
In the beam of Holy Light, Simon raised his bone-clawed hand holding a Magic Wand high, "Humility—!"
In the vortex-like rolling dark clouds, a massive "Space Gate" opened, it felt as if all the world’s light had been sucked into it.
"Integrity —!" another voice sounded!
*Night descended without warning, enveloping the entire world.*
"Compassion—!" another voice!
"Heavens... What is this?" even the Pope was stunned.
The voices came from all directions, as if thousands were shouting. Beam after beam of Holy Light descended from the heavens, each illuminating a Lich.
The Angel Army panicked, "How many Liches are there?"
Already injured, Yilin stood in confusion, the fierce wind swept past her.
Zeda was completely stunned. Jeremy clenched his teeth, looking around. The veins on his forehead throbbed, throbbed.
The Liches rose into the air, ascending towards the sky with the Holy Light.
Dragon’s roar! A colossal Bone Dragon poked its head out from the "Space Gate." Then a second, a third, one after another emerged. It seemed endless, covering the sky. Various sub-dragons and undead beasts made from the skeletons of various ferocious birds fluttered around.
The Angels’ faces began to contort with fear.
Howls and roars echoed throughout the world.
The Black Cat, who had just barely awakened, saw the scene and fainted again from fright.
"Hello everyone!" Lucy rose into the air, landing on the dragon’s head, her cloak flying behind her, "I am your beloved Red Skull Lucy, we come to save the world—!"
Soon after, other Liches also rose into the sky, landing on their mounts.
"For the kind and upright people!"
"To make this world a better place!"
"For love and peace!"
"We will fight to the end!"
"I am the Duke of Fear, Aikleion!"
"I am the Shatterer, Glassley!"
"I am Erin, the Oceanic Bone Sea!"
"I am the Cursed Soul, William Scott!"
The Liches reported their names one by one, rising into the air, flying to their mounts.
Most Liches’ mounts were Bone Dragons; after all, Bone Dragon mounts were very impressive, and Liches loved them.
"For the dream of justice!"
"To let the sunshine illuminate every corner!"
"I am the Hanged Man, Green!"
"I am the Ghost King, Babuti!"
The other half of the Liches flew towards the outskirts.
The edges of the battlefield trembled crazily. Numerous small "Space Gates" opened, from which surged forth an overwhelming Undead Army like a tide.
There were the Death Knight Corps dressed in black heavy armor and riding Bone Horses.
There were the Skeleton Infantry Corps, including heavy shield infantry, light infantry, and archer formations.
There was the Ghost Reaper Army wielding large scythes, impervious to physical attacks.
There was the zombie army, slow-moving yet immensely powerful, covered in bloody terrifying vine armor.
There were ancient giant elephants and agile Croc Riders made from ancient crocodile and goblin skeletons, there was the Plundering Wolf Cavalry Army made from goblin and giant wolf skeletons, terrifying large patchwork monsters, cloaked, wielding red Magic Power— Blood Demons... and, of course, heavy war machinery. Huge war chariots were pushed out, dwarfing humanity’s siege devices in comparison.
Dark masses, seemingly ready to engulf the entire world.
"Evil will be ended!"
"Justice will prevail!"
"Today, we shall uphold this world’s moral bottom line!"
"Catastrophe Summoner, Aqua."
"Manipulator, Joluna."
The Liches continued to report their impressive names one by one. Those names were once nightmares for Heaven. Yet today, they descended with Holy Light!
