The Lich of Glory Knight Spirit: Moving towards Krimasha! Chapter 351

Two people managed to fill the roles of a five-person Mercenary Group, and they were especially strong in certain key positions, like the area-damage Mage.

It’s said that the best leaders are those who can handle any position and do anything. After all, you never know which position might suddenly become vacant. A leader who can excel in various roles is also likely to command their group with precision.

Thinking about it, Andrew suddenly felt like he was born to be a group leader. He could handle at least three roles—and maybe even act as bait or vanguard. That made four positions. Practically all-round! Actually, Christina could do it too, though she’d need to swap out her brain first. After all, a leader might lack many things, but one thing they absolutely can’t lack is brains; otherwise, they’ll lead the entire Mercenary Group straight into a pit.

By the way, thanks to the tasks completed last month, Blood Elf and Dragon Mercenary Group had already ascended to a Level Five group. In Linlopes, the highest ranking Mercenary Groups only reached Level Seven.

Throughout Linlopes, there were eight Level Seven Mercenary Groups, most of which were large and mighty—essentially mercenary armies rather than mere mercenary groups.

There were twenty-five Level Six Mercenary Groups, some streamlined, while others had massive teams. Level Five Mercenary Groups numbered at eighty-one.

In other words, Blood Elf and Dragon Mercenary Group was now considered mid-to-upper tier, and it had gained some renown.

After reaching Level Five, if a group wants to climb further up the rankings, they must complete highly challenging tasks. Ordinary tasks, no matter how quickly, perfectly, or frequently they are completed, won’t suffice. Ascending to Level Six is essentially the dividing line between top-tier and average Mercenary Groups.

Of course, Andrew was quite confident. After all, their team had a dragon, whose combat power hadn’t yet been fully tapped.

Once the contract was signed, the arrangements indeed changed. Especially for those being cultivated as priority personnel, the treatment was markedly different. The task pick-up point was relocated to a private booth in the mission hall, with a dedicated staff member assigned.

"Hello, it’s a pleasure to serve you. My name is Hannah, and I’m the exclusive mission advisor for Blood Elf and Dragon Mercenary Group. You must be Mr. Duru, the leader of Blood Elf and Dragon Mercenary Group, and this must be the famous Miss Christina."

"You know me?" Christina widened her eyes in surprise.

The human girl, dressed in uniform with her hair tied into a ponytail, smiled and replied, "Nobody in the adventurer hall doesn’t know you."

"Ahem, ahem!" Andrew coughed heavily twice and said, "Yes, I am Duru. However, our group leader should be Miss Christina."

"But it says here that you’re the leader," Hannah quickly opened her notebook.

"It’s already been updated, just now," Andrew said, flashing the revised mercenary certificate.

"Well, I suppose it doesn’t make much difference." Hannah smiled and settled into the booth across from Andrew and Christina. "Today’s task is a bit heavy, so the employer hopes to hire two Mercenary Groups to act together."

"Not at all. The employer is willing to pay dual commissions, along with a special reward, so this isn’t a competitive task. The other Mercenary Group should be arriving any minute."

Just as she finished speaking, the door swung open. A team of five mercenaries entered—it was precisely the team Andrew had spotted earlier in the adventurer hall.

For a moment, both sides froze. The opposing five especially stiffened when they saw Christina, completely dumbfounded.
