The Lich of Glory Knight Spirit: Moving towards Krimasha! Chapter 519

"Take a break, didn’t we say we wouldn’t meet until noon?" Belle casually unscrewed the cap of the canteen.

"But the Lich didn’t need rest," William appeared somewhat disappointed, "they should have prepared some entertainment for us."

"Pfft!" On the other side, a servant who had taken the first sip from the canteen immediately spat it out, spraying blood everywhere.

Belle froze with the canteen in her hand, silently screwing the cap back on.

Everyone stared in shock.

"This is fish blood!" the servant cried out.

"Fish blood?" The Blood Clan members subconsciously lowered their heads, looking at their own canteens.

"They actually gave us fish blood... my God. Don’t they know Blood Clan can’t drink the blood of cold-blooded animals?"

"I guess they really don’t know."

"It smells so fishy... how are we supposed to drink this?"

"Oh my God, what are we going to do next? If all we have is fish blood, how are we supposed to get through these days here?"

Dora cautiously looked at Jones, and Belle also glanced over at Jones. ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ novel⚑fire.net

"I guess they got it from the port," Belle shrugged helplessly.

After hesitating for a moment, Jones took a deep breath, unscrewed his cap and took two gulps... then shivered and spat it out quietly.

"No, I can’t drink it either. We need to find another way."

"What way? Any harm to the creatures here would violate the Blood Elf’s law, even pigs. Besides, we don’t even know if there are any pigs here."

William stood with his staff beside him, looking expressionlessly at the troubled Blood Clan members, "Did none of you think about this at the start?"

"Of course we did," Belle said, "We brought a lot of blood, but it’s all on the airship, which by now is probably en route. It certainly won’t arrive anytime soon."

The group of servants began to panic, each looking at Jones.

After a brief silence, Jones said, "Everyone, let’s endure for a while, it’ll just be a couple of days without food. It won’t be too bad. What’s most important is that we complete our task. We must secure the minerals we need."

Oh, this was not a good plan. Hungry Blood Clan members might go mad.

The servants still stared intently at Jones.

At this moment, under the sacred tree at an archery range, a thirty-five-year-old Blood Elf was training.

At thirty-five years old, he was nothing but a small child in the elf world. With black hair, a youthful face, a tall yet thin body, dressed in a green linen tunic, and wearing woven brown grass shoes.

He bore some resemblance to Andrew.

Drawing an arrow from his quiver, his hands slightly shaking, he drew the longbow, closed one eye, and carefully aimed, then gently released.

"Thwack!" The arrow hit the target, on the outermost ring. Just one point, not more. A bit off and it would have missed entirely.

The tall and burly Elf trainer standing beside him rubbed his forehead in exasperation.

At this moment, cheers erupted around them. Of course, the cheers weren’t for him.

Turning his head, he saw an Elf Girl shooting four arrows consecutively. The first arrow hit bullseye, the second split the tail of the first, the third split the second, and the fourth split the third!

As if that wasn’t enough, she drew four more arrows at once, pulled her bow, "Thwack!" and each of the four arrows hit a separate target. One even landed in the boy’s bullseye.

The onlookers burst into even greater enthusiasm. The Elf Girl turned her head and gave the Elf Youth a disdainful look.

The boy stared in a daze.

"Stop staring, Angel, she’s a prodigy," the trainer whispered to Angel.

"She’s a prodigy, then what about me?" Angel asked, dazed.

"What do you want me to say? If she’s a prodigy, then you’re undoubtedly a fool. Don’t ask others that, Angel, it’ll only bring you humiliation. Besides, it’ll put the person you ask in a dilemma. They’ll have to choose between lying and humiliating you. I guarantee, you won’t pass the initial trial in a few days."

"But I never wanted to be a Hunter," Angel said, aggrievedly, "Coach, I don’t like hunting. It’s not for me."

"No one is forcing you to hunt, Angel," the trainer said helplessly, "Luo Ge Xian Ni no longer has hunters, ’Hunter’ is just a title. If you can’t become an official Hunter, you can’t become a Scout or an Elf Hunter. Without that, all honor will elude you. Understand? Your life will be dark."

Angel lowered his gaze to the ground, exceedingly dejected.

"Go home. I think there’s no point in more training. Give yourself a break before the initial trial. These might be your last good days, kid. As for me, hehe, I need to think about how to explain your initial trial failure to your parents. I hope giving back half of the tuition will ease their hurt."

"You don’t really need to worry, Coach. They know better than you just what their son is capable of. Failure is expected. Passing the initial test would be a surprise."
