The Lich of Glory Knight Spirit: Moving towards Krimasha! Chapter 544

A large group of Lunbak soldiers gathered around the campfire, drinking and loudly sharing various bawdy jokes, frequently bursting into laughter.

A few drunken soldiers were already snoring in the corners, and many more had gone to sleep in the tents. Only a small number of soldiers on guard duty remained vigilant.

Aside from the soldiers’ chatter, the camp was particularly quiet at night.

Turuk crouched beside Andrew, his eyelids drooping with sleepiness, "Master, why don’t you rest early? It’s getting late."

"Are you tired?" Andrew looked up at Turuk.

In the blink of an eye, Turuk had followed Andrew for three years.

In three years, Turuk, as a beastman, now looked almost indistinguishable from a human in terms of clothing and behavior. Of course, his appearance couldn’t be changed. His fangs were still extremely conspicuous, or rather, extremely ugly, among the crowd.

Of course, as the only disciple of Grand Master Andrew, he wouldn’t be discriminated against even if he were a rat, let alone a beastman.

Over the years, he had been rolling on the basics of magic, wearing a mage’s robe, but unable to cast a single spell; however, he had become quite fluent in the common language of the continent.

When he first met Andrew, he couldn’t even speak properly.

Oh, and beastmen grow up particularly fast. So, he was no longer a child. He was even taller than Andrew, looking exceptionally sturdy. Standing next to Andrew, he resembled a bodyguard.

After hesitating for a moment, Turuk blinked a few times and said in a low voice, "No, I’m not tired..."

"If you’re tired, go to sleep. You won’t be of any help anyway." Andrew lowered his head and continued jotting down notes in his notebook.

Turuk shook his head, "Master doesn’t sleep, so I can’t sleep."

"Are you afraid I’ll eat something delicious without you if you fall asleep?" Andrew laughed.

"No... I’m afraid if Master says something, I’ll miss it while I’m asleep..."

"But I’m an elf, and you’re a beastman. You naturally need more sleep than I do. If necessary, I can go two weeks without sleep. Can you do that?"

Turuk could only look at Andrew silently, not saying a word.

"Learning magic isn’t something that happens overnight. I studied at the Magic Academy for a hundred years. In fact, my most significant progress wasn’t made during that time. So, there’s no need to be in such a hurry."

"But... Master, I don’t have that long to live. I don’t even know if I’ll be alive to see you save Master Mistress."

Andrew’s pen paused, and he looked up at Turuk again.

The burly Turuk looked at his master with eager eyes.

"Don’t worry, I have ways to extend life. Your master has great skills. One of the crimes I was convicted of in absentia by the Blood Elf Court was breaking into the Blood Elf secret library where only the Great Priest can enter." Andrew said, closing his notebook and patting Turuk’s broad shoulder, "Sleep now, tomorrow will be busy, and I’m going to sleep too."

"Master, have you already calculated the location of the Krimasha Relics?" Turuk’s eyes widened slightly.

"Yes." Andrew responded with a meaningful smile, then stood up with the support of his knees, "Before you go to sleep, take a round and see if any of our people are still awake, and have them rest. I don’t want to see a bunch of yawning guys tomorrow morning. As for the Lunbak soldiers, just let them do whatever they want."

Andrew patted Turuk’s shoulder once more, took a step, and walked towards his tent, murmuring softly to himself, "For a mage, knowledge is power, and lifespan is also power. With enough life, enough knowledge, nothing is impossible. I really envy those Liches. Infinite lifespan, no need to rest. Maybe I should become a Lich in the future? By the way, I’ve actually seen the secret text on transforming the living into Liches." The latest_epɪ_sodes are on_the nοvelfire.net

He lifted the tent flap with his hand and saw William’s bare skull, along with Jones.

"Long time no see, Andrew." Jones greeted Andrew with a smile.

Suddenly, Andrew’s expression froze. He silently lowered the flap, ready to turn and leave.

However, another Lich, Lucy, appeared behind him and directly pushed him into the tent.

Without any chance to resist, he was pushed in front of Jones. Lucy, dressed in a black robe, also entered the tent and dropped the flap to the ground.

At this moment, besides Jones, William, Lucy, and Andrew, Adelle was also in the small tent.

Adelle sat in Andrew’s chair while the others stood.

"After so long, you run away as soon as you see me?" Jones sighed helplessly, "That’s really disappointing. The last time we met was probably on the eve of the Battle of Salted Fish Port? In Azlan Mountain. You ran away and left us."

"I said I would avenge you!"

"Do you think I believe you?"

"Believe whatever you want, I mean it seriously." After saying that, Andrew seemed to realize that his lie was too obvious. After all, not everyone was as gullible as Christina, who believed whatever he said. He added awkwardly, "I really do have a bit of that idea, just a bit, though not much, it does exist. You should believe in our friendship. We fought together, didn’t we?"
