The Lich of Glory Knight Spirit: Moving towards Krimasha! Chapter 556

"Sir Hydra Knight doesn’t have time?"

"Yes, he doesn’t have time."

"Is he really that busy while staying in Luo Ge Xian Ni?"

"Uh..." Belle hesitated and replied, "Actually, he feels a bit unwell."

"Unwell? Do you need me to bring a doctor over?" Cornelia asked.

"No, no need." Belle replied with a smile, "How could a Blood Elf doctor understand the illness of the Blood Clan? Right. Sir Hydra Knight can handle it himself, so don’t worry."

Cornelia looked suspicious but didn’t say anything. Instead, she asked, "What about Miss Dora? And Mr. William? Can I conveniently meet with them?"

"Uh... not very convenient."

"Why? Are they also sick?" Cornelia laughed.

"No, they... need to take care of Sir Hydra Knight, and they don’t have time." Belle answered calmly.

"Alright, then. Please let me know when Sir Hydra Knight recovers."

"I will. Sir Hydra Knight is still hoping to see Her Majesty one more time before leaving."

"I will arrange it for him."

The two silently bowed to each other, and then Cornelia left.

Belle stood in place with a look of helplessness on her face. She took a deep breath and sighed, *"How much longer will they take to return? It’s just a relic; it shouldn’t take too long, right?"*

At this moment, in the relic...

"This way... wait, it should be this way. No, this way..."

"Can’t you sense the Tomb Guardian Demon?" Jones asked with a frown.

"Yes, I can sense them. But the position of the Tomb Guardian Demon isn’t fixed. They move around, understand?" Andrew glanced at Jones and continued forward, saying casually, "I have to estimate their movement patterns. It’s always better to be cautious. If we run into them, you know what the consequences are."

"Ha, I don’t really know. At worst, we just run away? We’ve already escaped from the Tomb Guardian Demon more than once. As long as we’re careful, even if we encounter them, it won’t be a problem. Are you worried that I’ll leave you behind?"

*"Do you think there’s only one type of Tomb Guardian Demon? There are many kinds. The one we just saw was the weakest. Neither of us knows what the next one will be. Maybe it’s faster than you? We only have one life; we’re not Liches who can return to their soul boxes. Don’t take unnecessary risks."*

After walking a while longer, Andrew suddenly stopped and turned to look at the lintel of a nearby door. He stared at it for a long time, straining to make out something from the broken text.

After a while, he pointed to the door and said, "This way." Then he stepped inside.

Jones, Dora, and Turuk followed closely.

"You’re a mercenary under Andrew?" Jones asked Turuk during the walk.

"No, I’m the apprentice of the master." Turuk replied somewhat blankly.

"A Beastman Mage? No, you should be a Beastman Shaman."

"No, just a Beastman Mage. Not a Shaman." Turuk answered earnestly. ʀᴇᴀᴅ ʟᴀᴛᴇsᴛ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀᴛ N0v3l.Fiɾe.net

"Why did you think of apprenticing with this guy?" Jones asked with a mocking expression. "Maybe you should apprentice with me. I’d certainly teach you better than Andrew, and I wouldn’t randomly bring you to such places for adventure."

Turuk glanced cautiously at Jones but didn’t respond.

Andrew, walking ahead, turned and glanced at Jones but said nothing.

After a while, Andrew led them to a gigantic, tightly closed stone door.

"Jones, come here for a moment," Andrew said, turning back.

"What do you want?" Jones immediately became alert.

"Nothing, I need your blood to open the stone door. I hope this door isn’t broken." Andrew pointed to a small recess next to the stone door and continued, "Bite your finger and then rub your blood into this recess."

"Wait, what do you mean? I don’t understand."

"We need your blood to open the door. This is called a ’bloodline recess,’ and it requires human blood to activate."

Andrew looked frustrated, "Blood Clan is human. I’m asking for just a drop of your blood; try it, it won’t harm you."

"Blood Clan is human?"

"But Blood Clan isn’t human."

"Just open the door, okay? It’ll benefit both of us." Saying this, Andrew bit his own finger and rubbed the blood into the recess: ". I’ve already tried it once; you can’t suspect I want to harm you, right?"

Jones hesitated but eventually did as Andrew said, biting his finger and rubbing the blood into the recess.

Suddenly, the entire stone door started vibrating.

Jones and Andrew stepped back, looking up.

A pathway of white light flowed along the contours, and soon, the stone door slowly opened, revealing a long, dark passage.

The passage was pitch-black, nothing could be seen.

*Well, that statement is redundant. Everything here is pitch-black, apart from the torches lit by Jones and Andrew.*

"Let’s go in; we should be at the place now. Remember to control your magic power fluctuations, preferably to the level of humans, or lower. I don’t want to attract unnecessary trouble." Saying this, Andrew stepped forward, holding the torch, and walked inside.

Jones, Turuk, and Dora followed him.

By the torchlight, Jones saw many wall paintings along the walls, one after another.
