Outside the window, the previously cloudless sky was now overcast with thunder roaring.

Tao Ti looked towards the window, tilting her head, “Is it going to rain?”
Hua Jinyan frowned, “I prepared a kite, but we can’t fly it if it rains.”
Tao Ti clasped her hands together, “Don’t rain, don’t rain…”
A gust of wind blew, dispersing the dark clouds, and the sky brightened again.
Tao Ti cheered, “We can fly the kite now!”
Hua Jinyan’s mood lifted as his lips curled up.
He heard that she had come back crying yesterday after seeing her younger siblings in the mountains, so he personally made a kite to cheer her up.
