Chapter 22: Chapter 22: Crystal Clear Candy
Cheng Guodong guessed that her little secret was nothing more than secretly hiding candy, just a child’s play.
He did not take it seriously.
Cheng Guodong’s pupils shook violently, he forcefully closed his eyes, then opened them again.
In front of him, the little girl was pinching out tufts of grey mist out of thin air…
Eventually, like performing magic, the mist turned into a piece of candy!
The candy was crystal clear, like the most beautiful and purest round pink crystal, and it looked quite delicious too.
Tao Ti pinched the candy and was about to put it in her mouth when Cheng Guodong came to his senses, reached out to intercept, “Don’t eat it, are you sure this thing is edible?”
“It’s edible!” Tao Ti said in her babyish voice, ignoring Cheng Guodong’s obstruction, she put the candy in her mouth, smiling with her eyes curving and said, “It’s strawberry flavored!”
She had once eaten a strawberry, secretly given to her by the Granny next door, a tiny one, bright red, fragrant and sweet!
“Are you performing magic for me? It was hidden in advance, right?”
Cheng Guodong checked her pockets and sleeves but found no tricks, his voice trembling, “Sister, don’t scare me, superstitions are not to be believed!”
Tao Ti saw a little boy squatting next to the closed door, ran over to him, touched the boy’s head, and a tuft of grey mist appeared in her hand.
The grayish-black mist drifted away from the little boy, and the boy’s grey-dull face became pale and translucent, revealing a bright, relieved smile towards Tao Ti before disappearing.
She kneaded the mist together and turned it into a red candy, “Look! I can turn resentment into delicious candy!”
She put the candy into her mouth, squinting happily, her voice still babyish, “This time it’s watermelon flavored!”
Tao Ti tilted her head, innocent and naive, “Big brother, this is my little secret, even Grandpa doesn’t know, I’ve only told you, you must keep it secret for me!”
Cheng Guodong did not want to believe it, but his subconscious made him feel compelled to believe.

Tao Ti continued to nod her head.
Cheng Guodong took a deep breath and exhaled.
“I’ll call my Grandpa, he knows more, ask him whether eating these things will cause any trouble, how can you eat just anything! They look like chocolate and candy, but they are the Evil Spirit and resentment after all!”
Tao Ti patted her chest, “I am the Fierce Beast, I’m fiercer than them! Tasty, no problem!”
“I can also turn resentment into misfortune, making those who bully my brothers and sisters suffer great misfortune!”
Cheng Guodong was skeptical, but it was worth testing.
So Cheng Guodong took Tao Ti to the hospital where Chen Bin and the fat boss were staying.
Tao Ti stood in front of Chen Bin’s hospital bed, with a tuft of black mist appearing out of nowhere in her hand, and pressed it onto Chen Bin’s forehead!
Chen Bin’s body shivered, and his eyes visibly turned green.
Suddenly, a soft “Thank you!” reached Tao Ti’s ears.
Tao Ti thought she had heard wrong, then she went over to the fat boss and did the same with the black mist on his forehead, and this time she heard a voice again, not from one person, but many people saying at the same time, “Thank you!”
