The butler’s eyes darted around; he wasn’t one to sit idly by.

Hua Jinyan led the way out, and the three children followed him without hesitation.

The sports committee member nodded, "It really was quite a drama, I have to tell my grandma. She loves these melodramatic soap operas!"

Little Taotie glanced at Hua Jinyan and asked in a hushed tone, "Hua’s? Was it you who arranged for someone to call?"
Hua Jinyan nodded, not seeing any reason to hide it.
Little Taotie let out a sigh of relief, feeling a bit more at ease, but then became conflicted, "Qiaoqiao’s Dad is bankrupt now, what’s going to happen? Qiaoqiao won’t have any money for food."
Hua Jinyan said, "She can go to her mother, or her grandparents."
"Her mother abandoned her, and she’s not close to her grandparents either."
Hua Jinyan frowned, "Then I’ll arrange for someone to adopt her."
"I want her to come to my house, let my brothers adopt her." After a moment’s thought, Little Taotie shook his head, "I have money myself, I can take care of her! Recalling the longing for maternal affection in Qiaoqiao’s eyes, he thought Little Fatty’s idea wasn’t unreasonable.
Little Taotie looked at Little Fatty skeptically, "Will your aunt really be kind to her, or could she turn into an evil foster mother?"
