The police asked him to leave the interrogation room, and it wasn’t long before another man was brought in.
The man who entered this time was tall and menacing-looking.
The police handed him a cup of tea.
The man refused, "I only drink iced drinks."
The police took back the cup, "We don’t have ice."
The man licked his chapped lips and shook his head, "Then I’ll stay thirsty."
Police, "You said you are a witness?"
The man nodded, his expression becoming serious, "I don’t know what that person did to offend the student, but the student was too cruel, stabbing over and over again. It hurt just watching."
"Student?" The police handed him a photo, "Is it the person in this picture?"
The photo was of the young man who had just left the interrogation room.
The man glanced at it and immediately nodded, "That’s him!"
Police, "Where were you when you witnessed the crime happening?"
Man, "Public restroom, the men’s restroom!"
Police, "Can you recount exactly what happened, everything you saw?"
The man nodded, his hands subconsciously clenched, still somewhat fearful.
"I felt dizzy and wanted to sit by the window, to switch seats with that person, but he refused rudely, calling me a ’foreigner’ again and again. I got angry too, feeling that he was looking down on outsiders, so we started arguing."
"I was already feeling unwell, and the argument made my stomach upset, and I needed to vomit, so I went to the restroom."
"As I entered the restroom, I heard some strange noises from one of the stalls, the sounds of banging and muffled groans. Normally, I might have asked about it, but I was feeling too sick, so I vomited in the sink."

The police reminded, "You did have a quarrel."
The man’s eyes widened, full of shock, "It was just a small matter about giving up a seat, I’m not so vicious as to stalk and kill him just because he wouldn’t move!"
The police looked down, their gaze landing on the young man in the photo, and spoke calmly, "We have investigated, and the student did not know that person."
"Not know him?" The man was incredulous, "He stabbed without any mercy, as if there was a deep hatred, how could they not know each other? Who kills someone they don’t know?"
The police remained silent, just looking at him calmly.
The man felt something was off and asked nervously, "You don’t suspect me of lying, do you?"
Police, "We can’t rule out that possibility."
The man shouted in protest, "Every word I said is true, I really have no reason to kill over a seat! Besides, so many people saw us arguing, even if I did intend to kill, I wouldn’t dare. As soon as he died, others would immediately suspect me."
