Ling Long shrugged her shoulders, "The Artifact Spirit has no memory of its own. Wang Yilun sipped the wine from his Wine Gourd with a savoring expression, "I get to do some cleaning again!"
Ling Long gave him a sidelong glance, "The point isn’t cleaning; the point is, you can collect the Flower of the Other Shore pollen to brew your wine again, right?"
Wang Yilun lifted the Wine Gourd in his hand, "You understand me, Ling Long!"
Red Hair stared at the green document in his hand, "Is she coming to work today or not?"
Ling Long laughed, "She’s let go, feeling better; not to mention coming to work, she’s all energized for overtime!"
Just as she finished speaking, a lively and adorable little girl came hopping down the stairs, her face full of smiles.
"Get to work, get to work! None of you lazy around!"
The little girl, full of energy, buried herself into the files, starting to look for the task to complete today.
Ling Long raised an eyebrow, "See that? Now she’s urging us!"
Red Hair handed the green document to the little girl buried in a pile of files, "Here it is, stop searching."
"Is it ancient times?" Little Taotie asked while flipping through the pages.
Red Hair shook his head, "It’s modern times in a parallel world."
Little Taotie was surprised, "They’ve entrusted us with tasks from the parallel world too? Did their world’s Demon Management Bureau close down?"
Red Hair sighed, "It got eaten."
Little Taotie blinked innocently, "I didn’t run off to the parallel world to eat colleagues."
Red Hair said, "Not you. It was the monster from this task, it ate the colleagues at the parallel world’s Demon Management Bureau, so the task came to us. Once they rebuild their bureau and hire new people, it won’t be our problem anymore."
Little Taotie pouted, "We were already so busy, and now we have to handle the parallel world stuff too."
Ling Long brought an oil bottle, ready to hang it on Little Taotie’s mouth.
Little Taotie dodged, puffing, "What are you doing!"
Ling Long laughed heartily, "Wanted to see if your pout could hold the oil bottle."
Little Taotie, annoyed, formed a seal with both hands, pointing her finger at Ling Long.
Ling Long’s mouth puckered uncontrollably, and her body was immobilized, locked in place.
Little Taotie came over to her, took the oil bottle from her hand with a grin, "I want to see too!"
The oil bottle was hung on Ling Long’s mouth!
Ling Long looked to her colleagues with teary eyes.
Ji Guang lowered his gaze, pretending not to see.
Wang Yilun tilted his head back, drinking wine with bleary eyes, pretending to be drunk.
Red Hair looked down, organizing files, pretending to be busy.
Blue Hair, Purple Hair, and Yellow Hair gathered together playing a three-person card game.
Ling Long: "Mmm mmm!"
Little Taotie giggled, "Look, it’s hanging!"
Ling Long frowned and glared furiously.
Little Taotie giggled, "Can it hold another one? I’ll go find out."
Ling Long’s eyes teared up, too scared to glare, pleading with her gaze, "Mmm mmm..."
Little Taotie crossed her arms proudly, "Do you realize your mistake now?"
"Mmm mmm!" Ling Long indicated, she admits her mistake but should be allowed to speak!
Little Taotie thought for a moment and tapped her lips.
Ling Long’s mouth was freed, and as she moved, the oil bottle fell to the ground.
She rubbed her mouth, annoyed, "Little Taotie, you’re too much!"
Little Taotie looked innocent, "You provoked me."
