Orange’s agent wanted to do the same but found that their Orange hardly had any fans. That’s because the latter half of the short video was actually focusing on Tao Ti, Lin Zhi, and Lan Wei, showcasing how they integrated with humans and gained human affection.
Orange’s role in it felt somewhat like a minor antagonist, including her initial scenes where she was portrayed as bellicose. These did not endear her to the audience and even caused discomfort.

However, subsequent overall changes were made because Orange did not get along with the other two children and was the one to instigate trouble. Therefore, she was given the role of having a falling out with them, and as a result, she ended up with very little screen time.
Orange hung her head low, her eyes brimming with tears, and her little fists clenched tightly. She felt all kinds of unfairness in her heart. She thought the scriptwriter was biased and that Little Taotie was cheating her way to the top, but she dared not say anything, nor even cry.
