Yin Zhizhi noticed that Ji Huan averted his gaze for a moment when he saw her, but then she brazenly let him look, her ears reddening slightly. "Everyone said you made a mistake..."
Ji Huan quickly averted his eyes. "Sorry."
Ji Huan picked up his phone and called the driver again: "The underwear size is wrong, it should be 75A."
The driver was momentarily dumbfounded, then quickly said, "Okay, got it."
As Ji Huan was about to hang up, he noticed the red marks on Yin Zhizhi's arm caused by the tulle of the gown. "Buy silk sleepwear, the fabric is better."
Ji Huan hung up and found Yin Zhizhi giving him a strange look.
"What's wrong, anything else?"
"How can you tell the size just by looking at me?"
"Occupational hazard."
Yin Zhizhi became even more curious.
Ji Huan sat down on the sofa and explained, "When I first started working as a manager, I went to audition sites to scout for artists. At the auditions, the artists would report their height and measurements, but a lot of them lied. After seeing so many, I can now estimate sizes at a glance."
This was merely an occupational hazard, with no disrespectful intent.
Yin Zhizhi dragged her dress as she walked over, sat on the sofa, and couldn't help but pull her gown down a bit to scratch an itch.
That's when Ji Huan noticed a large red, slightly swollen area below her neck. An allergic reaction?
Ji Huan stood up and walked over. "Don't scratch, it'll only get worse."
"But it's so itchy and uncomfortable, the dress is irritating my skin."
Her skin was delicate, and the dress was made entirely of stiff tulle.
Ji Huan frowned. The designer only cared about making the dress look beautiful, using whatever fabric could showcase its beauty, never considering the wearer's comfort.
Yin Zhizhi had long nails, and a few casual scratches left red marks on her fair skin, highly visible.
She looked up at him. "How long until the driver returns with the new clothes? I can't wait to take off this outfit and go take a shower."
Ji Huan was about to ask her to bear with it a little longer, but she seemed to be having an allergic reaction from all the scratching.
"That's your room over there, the bathroom is inside. Go take a shower first, and I'll bring you the sleepwear when it arrives."
"Thank you, Ji Huan, you're so kind!" After cashing in her 'good person' card, Yin Zhizhi hurried back to her room for a shower.
Even the guest rooms had large, intelligent massage bathtubs installed.
Yin Zhizhi took off her clothes. "Ah, relief."
She filled the tub with hot water and sank into it, the itchy areas soothed by the warmth.
She couldn't help but make sounds of pleasure.
Yin Zhizhi filled the tub with bubbles, covering her body, then called out in her mind, "System? System?"
The system usually slept during the day and appeared at night.
These past few nights, Yin Zhizhi often chatted with the system while bathing, though the system didn't like idle chit-chat but would still humor her.
"System, are you there? Can you see where I am? I'm not at my own home tonight, I'm staying at the world's male lead's house - one step closer to my goal." Yin Zhizhi's tone carried a hint of pride.
After a while with no response from the familiar, pleasant young male voice, Yin Zhizhi splashed the water dejectedly. "Maybe it's still resting since it woke up earlier?"
With the system absent, oh well.
But she was one step closer to her goal, so Yin Zhizhi was in a great mood.
She activated the bathtub's massage mode and relaxed luxuriously.
After some time, footsteps approached the bathroom door, followed by a soft knock.
"Yin Zhizhi, I've got your change of clothes. I'll leave them by the door..."
Before Ji Huan could finish, he heard the sound of water, then the door opened a crack and a bubble-covered pale hand reached out.
"Hand it to me."
Through the cracked door wafted the sweet scent of bath gel and the warmth of the steamy air. Behind that door, she wore nothing at all.
