61 Dealing With The Forum
Grandpa Jing pursed his lips and snorted coldly. The doctor happened to arrive then, so he let him go for the time being.
The doctor carefully re-bandaged He Miao’s knee, then reminded her to avoid stressing it for the time being. He left some medicine for her and was sent back by the housekeeper.
He Miao did not mention going back to the He family house until she had dinner with Grandpa Jing.
Grandpa Jing wanted Jing Yan to send her back, but the butler suddenly came in and reported that Miss He had come to pick her up personally. Grandpa Jing was very surprised.
He Wei walked into the Jing family house and greeted Grandpa Jing and Jing Yan first. Then, she looked at the wrappings on He Xiao’s leg and asked worriedly, “Why didn’t you come home when you were injured? I’m worried about you. Come home with me.”
“How did you know He Miao was here?” Jing Yan asked coldly, frowning.
He Wei paused for a moment. The way he treated her was completely different from the way he was holding He Miao in his arms. The smile on her face almost fell, but when she remembered that Grandpa Jing was still there, she could only hide the disappointment in her eyes and said with worry, “Miaomiao’s injury has spread all over your school’s forum. I rushed over after seeing the news.”
He Miao knew very well that He Wei had made this special trip for Jing Yan, but she had never planned to let Jing Yan take her home. Now that He Wei was here, it was a good thing.

He Wei immediately said solicitously, “I’m here to pick up my sister. Let me help her. The He family’s car is just outside.”

Grandpa Jing took a sip of tea and calmed down a little. He looked at Jing Yan, who also had an unpleasant expression, and said, “What do you plan to do about the matter on the forum?”
Students always liked to pay attention to gossip. Although he was old, it was not impossible to understand. This was no different from his love of reading newspapers.

He Miao had only come to their house today, and other people had been able to find her whereabouts online. What if someone with bad intentions mixed in with these people in the future? Would that mean that they could close in on He Miao at any time?
Jing Yan had thought of this as well. His face turned cold as he answered respectfully, “I’ll get someone to immediately delete all the posts about he Miao, as well as a few accounts that are misleading the public opinion.”
Grandpa Jing nodded in satisfaction. Although Jing Yan had not graduated from university yet, he was quite capable. As long as he was willing to do it, it would not be a difficult task.

Jing Yan felt his heart clench. He frowned and lowered his eyes to hide the dissatisfaction in them. He did not agree or reject the suggestion directly, but said dryly, “I know, I’ll go to sleep first.” Then, he entered his room without looking back.
He first called Mu Xiao and asked him to settle the matter on the forum. Then, he lay on the bed for a while. When he opened his eyes again, Jing Yan was already in He Miao’s arms, a teething stick in his mouth.
He spat out the teething stick in disgust. The taste of the dog food between his teeth made him feel nauseated. His sharp eyes caught a glimpse of the milk on the table, and he jumped on it with his four short legs.
He Miao was reading a book and was startled by it. She could not help but smile when she saw it sniff the milk with its little nose.
