Xu Wanwan went to the bathroom and splashed some cold water on her hot cheeks. The icy cold tap water made Xu Wanwan feel refreshed, wishing she could submerge her whole body into the cold water right away.

Ye Family Ancestral House
After dinner, Old Ye and Ye Junli and Ye Jinchen went to the study to discuss company affairs, while Ye Jinmeng sat on the sofa watching TV with her grandma and Madam Ye.

The mechanical female voice came up over the phone. Ye Jinmeng's heart sank as she started pacing nervously in her room.
Ye Jinmeng took a few deep breaths to calm herself down, and forced herself to think of solutions.
"Could Wanwan's phone be out of battery?"
But Ye Jinmeng soon rejected that possibility. If her phone was out of juice, Wanwan would have definitely texted to inform her beforehand.
So Wanwan must be in danger now.
"No, I need to go to Haiyu Club immediately to find her!"
