Tang Shu finished organizing the paper assigned by Professor Yu in just one evening.
However, another matter wasn’t going so smoothly. Given her current status as a genuinely busy person, it was quite difficult to get her hands on that medical textbook back in Tang Village.
As for express delivery?
On this point, Tang Shu and Father Tang had a rare moment of agreement; the heirloom of the Tang family could not risk any mishaps and must only be entrusted to someone completely reliable.
"Are you going to be near Linhai anytime soon?"
On another Saturday night, while mooching a meal at Jing’s place, Tang Shu heard this piece of news from Jing Yu’s conversation.
"Yes, I have to check out a conference there. I’ll be back in two days. Do you want me to bring you some local specialities from home?"
Jing Yu expertly placed a piece of green pepper flavored grilled fish onto her plate.
"No, I still haven’t finished what I brought back over the New Year."
Tang Shu’s eyes lit up, "Is your schedule for these two days very tight?"
Jing Yu paused his eating, looked up with his obsidian-like eyes.
"What’s up, do you need something? My schedule isn’t tight, the conference will last at most half a day."
Schedules for the CEO of any company are flexible; handing over work to others is the best solution in case of emergencies.
Tang Shu couldn’t yet relate to the feeling of "the company runs entirely on my word" and nodded in response.
"I was planning to find time to go back and retrieve an old book, but I haven’t managed to make the time."
"No problem, Tang Village is close to the airport. Is there anything else you want me to bring to Uncle Tang?"
Jing Yu agreed, and the two of them immersed themselves once again in the cozy experience of eating and chatting.
However... an hour later, when the always composed Jing Yu escorted Tang Shu next door and saw what she had prepared for Father Tang, even his usually calm gaze couldn’t hide his surprise.
"You made clothes for Uncle Tang?"
Before him lay two grayish-black garments, a top and pants tailored quite properly, with a style leaning towards large sizes. The dense stitches at the seams immediately identified them as handcrafted.
The reason Jing Yu was certain that the girl across from him had made these herself was because he also saw a sewing box nearby and some scraps of fabric in the same color.
"Yes, Tang Village has always been self-sufficient, so Dad doesn’t really like to buy clothes in town."
Tang Shu had noticed this issue quite early; the same few sets of clothes had been reworn at home, and she estimated that it had been a few years since Father Tang had acquired any new styles.
"There was some leftover fabric from the cloth Tiantian bought, so I made an extra two pieces."
Talking about it, she paused for a moment while arranging the clothes, and looked up at the tall figure standing opposite her.
"Um... I was actually planning to make two pieces for you, as a way of thanking you for the meals these past times."

The embarrassed girl did not realize that, the moment those words left her mouth, the tall figure in front of her froze, his ears echoing with "I was going to make it for you."
After a long pause, Jing Yu finally regained his composure, his voice hoarse, "For me?"
"Let me get it for you, try it on to see if it fits."
Tang Shu turned to open the wardrobe, and without much searching, took out two completely different sets of clothes.
