"Elliana, you should try this. I grilled it myself," Daniel walked to Elliana, and Sebastian immediately stepped forward before taking the thing from his hand and taking a bite from it.
"You, what are you doing?!" Daniel looked at the bodyguard, baffled.
"I am just checking if what you are feeding to my princess is edible and up to her taste or not," Sebastian smirked inside the mask, and Lucas looked at his Prince helplessly, suppressing the urge to slap his forehead.
You are checking or just being jealous?
"Here, I think it’s a bit stale, but it’s edible enough. You can try it," Sebastian extended the barbecued vegetables, and Elliana looked at him with a helpless smile.
"Seriously, dude? I get that you are doing your job, but take it easy. What will I mix in the vegetables?" Daniel asked.
"Not in vegetables, but you can spray something intoxicating on this dish to make it more appealing, which will cause my princess to get drunk and lose control again.
Who knows what kind of intentions you have? You could’ve sprayed something toxic too since my princess has been rejecting your advances," Sebastian looked straight into Daniel’s eyes, leaving the guy speechless.
Lucas on the other hand bit his lower lips.
It’s not like he can ask his prince to control his words in front of everyone either. He looked at the princess in the hope that she would take control of the situation and calm the prince, but to his shock, she was standing there with an amused smile on her face.

Lucas sighed at the weird couple.
"The hell?! Elliana, what is he talking about? Do you think I am such a cheap person who will play such tricks on her? I am her friend, for god’s sake. And what do you mean what kind of intentions I have?" Daniel raised his voice, catching their friends’ attention.

"You don’t know what type Elliana really is. I guess none of us know," Samantha commented before they stood together, taking their grilled sticks in hand as they walked to the trio, eating their food.
Alcinder and Dexter, who had gone for a walk to look at the surroundings and ensure everything was safe, also looked at the scene and narrowed their eyes.
"What is happening here?" Samantha asked, her gaze moving to Sebastian for a second before she quickly averted her gaze, feeling dominated and pressured.
This bodyguard of Elliana was surely not someone easy to handle.
"You ask him what is happening. I grilled the vegetables and brought them for Elliana to eat and he took them and ate them to check the stuff. Is that alright?
He thinks he is following his duty, and when I said he is overdoing it, he said he can’t trust what kind of intentions I have. He accused me of mixing something in her food," Daniel said, more like blabbering, and they looked at Elliana.
They expected some input on the matter from her, but to their surprise, she was eating the grilled vegetables, completely unbothered by the ruckus around her.

"You brought it for me, didn’t you? It’s actually good. How did you do it? Can you show me?" Elliana asked, and Daniel immediately smiled.
"You want to learn? Sure, come with me," Daniel said, his attitude taking 180 degrees turn and Elliana followed him to the grilling station, leaving everyone speechless.
"Is he the same dude who was complaining earlier? He didn’t even care about anything anymore once Elliana said she wants to learn," Melony chuckled before looking at the bodyguard.
"Hey, Mr. Bodyguard, I know you are just doing your duty and probably following the protocols, but can you refrain yourself from being constantly suspicious of us? We don’t want to harm her.
She is our precious little gem. And I know it must be hard to understand, but you are also a vampire, right? I can see you care a lot about her. We do too," Melony said, and Sebastian just looked at her before turning around and walking to some distance.
He was clearly annoyed.
Lucas immediately followed his Prince, who leaned on the wall, texting someone.
"Sir, are you alright?" Lucas asked, but Sebastian didn’t answer anything.
Meanwhile, Elliana who just placed the vegetables in the stick looked at her phone.

The message was simple, but Elliana smiled at the words before looking at Sebastian, who was leaning at some distance.
The expression on his face was hard to read because of his mask, but his glaring eyes were a clear indication of his annoyance, and Elliana smiled even more.

What the hell was she typing? What will Mr. Marino think of her? That she is flirting with him? He already thinks that her head is filled with lewd thoughts because of what happened last night.

She turned to Sebastian to see if he was okay, but to her surprise, he was just standing there looking at her intensely with an amused look in his eyes.
Elliana’s eyes narrowed. Why was he looking at her like - she widened her eyes before looking at her phone.
She accidentally hit the sent button!! Her entire face turned red from embarrassment and she coughed fervently.

"Your hands are strangely cold and comfortable," Elliana said to Daniel, liking the cold feeling on her cheeks.
"It’s because I was holding a cold soda can," Daniel chuckled at her choice of words, and she nodded before standing and walking to her friends.
There is no way she is going to face Mr. Marino anytime soon. She needs to keep herself busy.
