"That’s not the answer to our questions, Sebastian," Noah walked behind his youngest brother’s son, who didn’t bother to look at him as he walked towards his cabin in the royal palace to get the important files he was working on.
"Well, there has to be some reason, no? You can’t just come and say you are not going to live in the royal palace out of the blue," Marcus said, looking at his brother, who wasn’t listening to anyone and just collecting the files.
"Has Princess Elliana denied staying here? Is it related to how you guys are not married anymore?" Georgette asked.
"Well, if that’s the case, it’s not like we are humans. You guys marked each other. We are open-minded about such things. We are vampires for crying out loud? Is it related to her witch family?" Ruth asked, and Sebastian took a deep breath before turning to them.
"I don’t know why there is a need to cause such a ruckus. I don’t stay at the royal palace either. I am out most of the time. So what difference does it really make?" Sebastian asked.
Abramo, who felt there was more to the story than Sebastian was letting them on, pressed his lips into a thin line.
"What is the actual matter, son? Why do you not want to live here? We thought we would be able to live together as a family after you become the king. It’s true, that we don’t have any right to ask you to stop after what we made you go through, but we still wanted it," Freya asked Sebastian, making the man feel guilty and he turned around, finally facing his family.
He took a deep breath and scratched his forehead.
The main reason why he wanted to stay away from them was because he didn’t want his family to discomfort his wife.
Now that the thing about her condition with siren powers was released, his princess would be more eager to get things done, and for that, she would take long training hours.
Naturally, the family members would want her attention too and they would want to enjoy things with her just like previous times when they had visited them and he was barely able to get a hold of her.
He didn’t want her princess to feel bad about ignoring the family members. That was why it was better they stay away from them for a couple more months until they found the solution to this situation.
Misha told him what happened during the training, and judging from how his princess wanted to hide it to prevent him from getting worried and how she asked him to keep this a secret from everyone else, it would be a hassle for his princess to hide her condition behind her smiles and he didn’t want her to force her happiness.
"You want to know the real reason? It’s because I need alone time with my princess now that we have marked each other.
I have been single all my life, and now that I have found the love of my life and she has accepted me the way I am, I want to start a family with her. Do you understand what I mean?" Sebastian asked, and Ruth chuckled, making the family members look at her.
"Just this much? If you want, why don’t you take the first floor-"
"I want to do it with her everywhere, hall, kitchen, living room, dining room, our room, the guest room, on the table, on the couch, near the entrance, by the wall, beside the TV, on the staircase, on the ground, dining table, on the balcony, every possible way where it can be done. Do you get it now?" Sebastian said, shutting everyone immediately.
Abramo coughed, while the ladies looked away, unsure of what to say.
However, what they didn’t expect was to hear a familiar gasp.
Sebastian froze in his place for a second, slowly turning towards the entrance of the hall where Elliana was standing, looking at him with wide eyes.
"Uhh, the princess said that you wanted her to come home. You were busy with the rogue problem that immediately occurred, and couldn’t be reached. Her mom was leaving to go and check a few things, so I... Uh... Brought her here," Lucas said, looking at his King with an unsure gaze.
"Princess, that’s not what I meant to say," Sebastian used his vampire speed to reach her, cupping her face, forcing her to look into his eyes before he shook his head.
He can’t talk to her in front of everyone. He held her hand and picked her up gently before taking her to the terrace.
Once they reached there, he gently placed her down and looked into her eyes.
"Baby, that’s not why I asked you to come and stay with me in the Black Skull Palace. I... It’s just -" Sebastian tried to explain, not wanting her to misunderstand that he only wanted her there for s*x and nothing more, but Elliana, who was too shy to look at him, only hummed lowly.
"You are not misunderstanding things, right? I want to spend my time with you too. It’s not only about -" Sebastian started but was cut off when Elliana started speaking.
"Well, it’s not like I am complaining," Elliana whispered, making Sebastian pause and look into her eyes.
"What do you mean?" He asked, confused, and Elliana bit the inside of her cheeks before clearing her throat.
She looked at him before stepping forward.
"I mean, I am not complaining about your wishes," she said, placing her forehead on his chest, catching Sebastian by surprise before a sigh of relief appeared on his lips.
Well, at least she wasn’t misunderstanding things.
But wait. Does that mean -
Sebastian placed his hands on her shoulders before pulling her away slightly to look into her eyes.
"Shall I start with the terrace first?" He asked, and Elliana pushed him away shyly before turning away from him, her brows knitting when she felt a pang in her palm.
She looked at the black mark on her hand that signified Azrael still had some control over her emotions and sighed.
Sebastian saw her looking at her hand and furrowed his brows.
"Princess, is everything alright?" He asked, slightly concerned and Elliana nodded.
"I am fine. Don’t worry," Elliana turned around before she smiled at him.
Meanwhile, Azrael, who was deliberately exerting pressure on Elliana’s palm, wanting to see the girl in pain, smiled.
This was really partial to the moon goddess. Look how she gave this little girl the love of her life and a man who loves this girl so much.
However, even after she suffered so much all her life, no happiness was given to her. Azrael scoffed.
She was about to move to her Magna Pot to see if she was ready to steal more energies from some other witch when she felt a dominating presence around her.
A smile immediately appeared on her face.
"Well, to what honor -" Azrael started speaking, but before she could add another word, Arizona slapped Azrael hard across the face, making the girl fall on the ground because of the impact.
Azrael didn’t move for a couple of seconds, too shocked to react before she turned to her sister with her eyes pitch black.
"Have you lost your mind?" Azrael asked, making Arizona grit her teeth as she raised her hand in the air, bringing a dagger out of nowhere.
"How dare you stab me in the back after everything I did for you? You ungrateful piece of sh*t!" Arizona raised the dagger in her hand, ready to kill Azrael for real.
