The items these Divine Beast cubs brought wouldn’t be considered precious by their parents, but they were still beyond the reach of ordinary Cultivators.

"Dead monkey, looking for a fight?" Dang Xiang challenged, hands on her hips.
The gunpowder-like tension in the air intensified. The rising pressure of their auras alarmed Wen Ruo and Bai Yao, who were in a side hall of the palace.
With the arrival of these two, and considering this was Bai Yao’s palace, the two beasts didn’t dare to fight directly.
The little Zhu Yan, quite unhappy, started pummeling Zhu Li. Seeing his angry child, Zhu Li had no choice but to swallow his anger. "Alright, alright, I get it! Just don’t tell your mother."
"Oh, don’t worry, I’ll definitely tell her," Dang Xiang interjected, twisting the knife.
Among the Divine Beasts in the back mountains, everyone knew Zhu Li was thoroughly henpecked. His wife, the mother monkey, had a temper like a volcano, erupting from time to time. Crucially, she was even stronger than Zhu Li and would beat him up regularly to vent her frustrations.

After the two Divine Beasts left, more Divine Beasts arrived at Bai Yao’s palace, each leading their young cubs.
The adult Divine Beasts were far more lavish with their offerings than the cubs, who had sneakily brought items without knowing their true value.
His routine became: collect resources, then give the Divine Beast cubs a Golden Finger "spa."
