Lu Mian’s tone was terrible, impatient. “Miss Fu, are we familiar?”
Cold and distant, not like mother and daughter, more like strangers.

Sitting in the seats next to them were the second uncle, Lu Xingtang, and the second aunt, Pei Jinlan.
On another side were Fu Man and Lu Xinnuan.
The six of them were discussing a happy topic, with continuous laughter, exchanging sentences without interruption. Even when Lu Mian entered, they noticed her but didn’t take the time to greet her.
