She headed over and stood behind the trunk of the car before tilting her head up . Even as the rain rushed at her eyes, she did not blink .
With her dark eyes staring at the man who stood above like a deity, she said softly, “The military and the people are one, just like water . Like a comrade, the people can occasionally become your backing . ”
Wasn’t it so? At least by being here, she could be his look out! If danger were to appear, she would show no hesitation and rush forward!
“Protecting us is your obligatory duty, then, please allow me to be part of your strength . ”
The girl’s voice was not loud, like a drop of water . But it was enveloped with power which made every word travel clearly to Xia Jinyuan .
Those unwavering eyes of his looked quietly at her, and in her eyes, she sensed that he must have seen the most beautiful scenery in the world!
The edge of his thin lips shifted upwards and he smiled . “What a stubborn partner . There’s no reason to refuse you . ”
The first to be dragged out was the beautiful lady who was still unconscious, and in her hand was something delicate . Apparently, it was a special pistol made from the military factory .
The gun was not confiscated, but the bullets were removed before the person was dragged to a side . Standing at the front of the car, Ye Jian simply flashed the flashlight so that Xia Jinyuan could conveniently drag the male suspect out .
As the unconscious man was being pulled out from in front of her eyes, she suddenly felt a bone-chilling sensation from behind her…
