“Jinghe, Jinghe?”
When he didn’t respond after she called him twice, Wenyan gently pushed him.
“Are you alright? Don’t scare me.”
The thing is, he didn’t look like he was simply asleep.
“If you don’t wake up, I’m going to pinch your philtrum, just so you know. I’m doing this to save you, not for you to wake up and accuse me of messing with you.”
“Forget it, I’ll make a video for my own defense, just in case you’re petty.”
Wenyan muttered to herself as she turned on the video recording function on her phone.
Just as she was about to find a stable place to set up her phone, Jinghe, who had been motionless with his head on the desk, slowly lifted his head.
Jinghe: “What are you doing?”
Wenyan, who was filming close to his face: “………I can explain, will you have the patience to listen?”
Jinghe gave her a cold look, then slowly leaned back in his chair.

While puzzled, Jinghe suddenly heard the sound of hurried footsteps, approaching from a distance.
It was the sound of Wenyan coming back.
Jinghe quickly put the phone on the desk.

“You actually snooped through my phone? According to your persona, aren’t you supposed to disdain such actions?”
A suspicious blush flickered across Jinghe’s pale cheeks.
“You were filming me.”
Wenyan ‘tsked’ and quickly approached him with the paper bag in her hand.
“If you had looked, you would’ve known I didn’t film you. I was about to pinch your philtrum because I couldn’t wake you up.”
“I heard that part.”
“See, I was actually afraid you’d play dirty.”
“As if there’s anything on me worth your scam.”
Wenyan: “………”
[Does Jinghe have to be so biting with his words? I think instead of Jinghe, he should be called ‘Psychotic’. Here I am, trying to help him and he still implies criticism, hmph!]
“Here, there’s a semi-cooked creamy cheesecake that’s quite sweet, and there’s orange juice too. These are just right for your low blood sugar.”
While speaking, Wenyan handed over the paper bag to Jinghe.
